Would've taken Mind Probe at 4 instead of TK thrust, as its a wicked power and deals some major damage at the lower levels. Also, Telekinesis rocks ASAP as long as you have a few blues in insp tray.

Sorry, I probably should have mentioned that it's a Lv50 build - I did take Mind Probe at Lv4, though TK is far too end hungry to be really useful pre-stamina IMO.

Ah finaly an Mind/Psi build.
I like them much
You can also go the Stammnialess Route if you go without TK.
I did so and i play without any Problems.
Its an Solo friendly Class as you can always go....1. Confuse...2. Sleep....3. Dominate. Then just kill the dominated with the help of the confused one. Then dominate the sleeping one and reconfuse the other, then kill the Final one. Never had any Problem that Way.

Been thinking about Psychic Scream - I don't dislike the notion of a coned moderate damage attack with -Recharge that I can wash over a group I've previously terrified, but the damage seems a bit...well, pants. There are already too many things competing for the slots, so any views on Psychic Scream would be helpful.

Similarly Subdue - it looks from Mids that it does a decent amount of damage - is it a fun pick, anyone?

Hmm, if u r leveling ur toon, maybe psy scream is usefull while u dont have PSW, then u will not use it, u just have to spam continously PSW...

Bout Subdue, I wouldnt skip this power, you will have the option of catching runnin enemies with this power. Also it has a chance of inmob, nice animation time and good dmg for this set (considering it is ranged too)...

IMHO, your attacks should be dart psi, mind probe, subdue and psy shockwave... Add drain psyche and maybe the sniper for the +rech and you are done.

Thanks - I'm still several levels away from Psi Shockwave, and tbh Psychic Scream is something I picked up for a team role. I'm thinking Telekinesis is more use as a team dom, and wish I hadn't removed it in the last respec. Think I'll probably swap the Scream for Subdue since I'm mostly soloing, and with TK next time, then Shockwave. Scream can come after that, I guess - I'm not exactly trembling with anticipation for the Patron sets, so probably will round off with more primary/secondary or pool powers.

No Mesmerise?
I'm back in the game after a 3+ year break, so this is my 1st Villain, and I just created a mind/psi last night and made it to 5th.
So far mesmerise is one of my major tools, letting me take on 4 yellow mobs and win, sleep #1, dominate #2, psi dart/brawl/levitate #3 until mesmerise is back up, sleep #3 (probably dies), dom #2 as its broken &amp; cycle attacks until sleep back up, sleep #4, #3 dies, just in time for #1 to break sleep and be next in line for attacks...

ow m8... at lvl5 and not mind probe???

btw, mezmerize isnt very usefull for teams, since ppl tend to wake up enemies a lot... If u plan on soloin more than teamin, then it is ur 2nd 'ghetto-hold', after dominate.

If not, I can understand why ppl go for levitate, higher dmg and taking out an enemy 2 secs...

Probably because my main was a grav/kin controller started before controllers had pets, so the damage I'm outputting is orders of magnitude more than he did.
