HIT AND RUN IN STEEL CANYON, OWNER OF WRECKED SCOOTER MISSING.
The PPD were on the lookout on Wednesday for the owner of a scooter that was destroyed when a black van rammed it at top speed outside Icon in Steel Canyon, then sped off. Witnesses claim the man riding the scooter was sent rolling over the van's roof before landing face down onto the road.
Things took a turn for the strange, however, when the man then got to his feet and staggered away from the scene of an incident that many witnesses say should have killed him.
The PPD are now looking for a man in his early twenties, with dyed red hair, a red leather jacket with black stripes and grey cargo pants with a black cross-style pattern. Police have stated that the man is not in any trouble, but he should seek medical attention immediately. It has also been confirmed that the scooter was registered to Richie Stacker of Galaxy City.
(OK, I admit it, I fail at writing those sort of things.)

GHOSTS SAID TO BE HAUNTING PARAGON'S RAILWAYS
Ghosts have been said to be haunting the trains in Paragon City. This has been seen by many. One woman, Maria Jenkins, reported: "As I came off the train, I could see them trying to break down the train. I asked the other passengers if they had saw it, but none of them said they had saw it, and some even shouted at me, calling me childish and that I had to grow up. I was sure I saw it." This is just one of the many reports Paragon City Post has found reporting ghosts haunting the trains. Are they real? A message sent by Paragon Railway Corp's vice president, Dan Waterboroh, states: "A full scan of the train by our mechanics found there to be no ghosts. The public should not be worried, these ghosts do not exist. The reason why people are seeing them may be because a bug which infects their sight may be around, or for just mental problems. There may be other various reasons for it. Citizens of paragon; there is no need to be worried. These ghosts do not exist." But then, it seems the old saying comes back to mind, 'just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there'. Could it be true or false in this case? Only time will tell.

RIKTI SCARE SENDS WORKERS ON STRIKE
Many workers are going on strike, says Paragon City Council, because the Rikti invaded a office last week. The strike was formed by office worker Jane Moras. She says: "The Rikti are a scary bunch. If they're going to try to destroy us and our workplaces, shouldn't the Council listen and make our workplaces safer, so we will not recieve a Rikti attack?" Her stinging words inspired a hero called Black Warrior of Chicago. He says: "It is very unlikely, but her words have inspired me greatly to stand up and have faith for what you believe in and what you think is right, to never give up, to learn that we all have a freedom of speech." The strike will go on tommorow, and there couldn't be a more confident, faithful mob. That mob is workers. Workers of Paragon City.
Since Britanic very kindly gave me permission to take on the Paragon City Post when he left, and since I actually enjoy the process of writing and laying out things like that, and since I'm too much of an altoholic to actually manage to be there for most RP stories...
If anybody has a story that they would like to appear in the Paragon City Post, please let me know (by PM, in this thread or on the Unionverse Wiki- my page or the Post's) and I will be happy to do it for you.
If you don't want to write the actual article yourself, just give me the details (including screenshots and quotes if possible) and I'll be happy to write it up as one of the staff reporters.
If you want it written by you in character, then the character can get a freelancer's byline. If you want to write it as one of the staff reporters listed on the Wiki or under a random name, go ahead (just not as Mandi Steinman, since she's my character Maid Stone.)
I'd also like to do some other things besides headline stories... the small articles buried somewhere inside... a fashion centre spread (that could actually be very entertaining).. a letters page... any contributions and/or suggestions will be very welcome.
