Elec/Ice clueless
*POKE
Any advice / comments please?
Don't have that much experience with Elec/ so focusing on the stuff I do know about.
- Ice Patch could go with less slots in it, it recharges well straight out of the box.
- Aid Self could use one more slot.
- And when you get to level 50, respec so that you have 3-slotted build up, aim, tactics and vengeance. (add additional slots if you need to put specific ios in). Hurdle is usually more useful than Swift, but that depends a bit on your playstyle.
- Shiver is so awesome that the more slots you can spare to that the better.
- Chiliblain is actually quite nice, so if you eventually get slots freed, you could think about slotting that. (I've never had slots to spare to it, but ... _if_)
- I'd probably take Freezing Touch and Elec Epic Hold to have a nice control chain going on, but that's again me thinking Blasters should be what Dominators are.

I like having two fully slotted holds on a blaster where available, I'd take that over the leadership pool. Means you can hold bosses. Unless you have some plan for the slots in Aim and BU I'd just slot them 3 rech and leave it at that. Oh and I'd try to fit hasten in (you wont hear me say that often but I think you'll benefit more than you would on most builds)
Is this a PVP build? If not with the damage mitigation you have there's no need for Aid Self for PvE. If you're in a team you should be fairly safe, if you're solo you should get most problems delt with by Ice Patch and your two holds (see my first comment)
Also if you're going elec epic it can only be for EMP. Fantastic mitigation and well worth having.
Of course if this is a PvP build ignore most of the above, though having both holds fully slotted would still help for solo or zonal I'd imagine
"Well, they found my diary today.
They were appropriately appalled
at the discovery of the eight victims
They're now putting it all together.
Women wrapped in silk
with one leg missing
Eight legs, one body, silk,
spider, brilliant!"
Ok, thx for advice, I'll see to have EMP pulse and Freezing Touch (I take this is the 2nd hold), prolly will get rid of Medicine Pool since it's intended for PvE.
The 6 slots in Build Up and Aim were intended for a full set but I'll see to re-arrange slots a bit. I was going for Leadership pool in an attempt not being the 1st team faceplanter so I can get the Vengeance buff, but then EMP pulse makes obviously more sense since Vengeance gives me a better chance to dive in melee and fire it.
Prolly Air Superiority will also be more convenient than CJ for extra dmg mitigation.-
Thanks
Heya,
I rolled an elec/ice blaster and although he's still at lvl 8, I'm having so much fun it can't be legal. As I am clueless about blasters, I came up with this build, please feel free to tear it apart and please give me some advice on power selection:
