1 Proc IO i highly suggest, the chance to recharge of the KB set. As nearly each power of nrg has KB abilities, you can fire it off quite alot of times, specialy if you slot it in tier 1 or 2.
Chances are they might become unique, as they feel somewhat unbalanced.
This week i'm doing a respec of my nrg/ice, i'm more of a ranged fighter, if you want i can share my build? (replace ice by elec powers in that case).

I'm a proud "owner" of my first toon which was an Energy/Elec Blaster (as you can see obviously see in my sig).
From my PoV there arent any guides to the specific set combo, because its actually one thats a bit tricky to combine and doesnt have the "obvious" advantages that other sets do. It took me half a year after hitting 50, some IO set bonuses and lots of respecs to actually end up with an effective combination of the overall set.
But as Syinergy mentioned, nowadays there are these specific IOs and finally Energy/ Blasters will get some love - since they've been cursed from a KB point, when being with teams.
So I've been away far longer than I had hoped, missing a total of 3 Issues, begginning of 9 on test. Now that i'm back, want to jump right back in. However, strolling the boards, still having difficulty finding any Enrgy/Electrics blaster guides/wannabes/vets whatever.

Well as for me, I'm dead set against PvP. Just cant handle the thumping in my chest and the feeling of dread. So will be respeccing for pure PvE carnage. Trouble is I don't know where to start. Set bonuses
Some advice would be nice.
