there are random cosi comps all the time in atlas (less since everyone became inf grabbing whores!!), there was one last night!!
a few problems with your idea,
not everyones got a free character slot,
2 mill isnt a lot,
looking obviously like an existing trademarked character proberly breaks the rules.....im not sure ive never read them but have seen enough people get genericed to know they take this pretty seriously.

I was just messin' about in Atlas with Prickles and so on, making toons from Star Wars (I made a horrible Darth Vader).
Anyway, it got me thinking that it would be pretty neat to have a cossie comp where people are given 20 minutes or so to create a toon from fresh, with a certain theme.
So, something along these lines:
Your theme is Star Wars, return here within 20 minutes with a toon from that theme. A prize of 2mill inf or whatever will be given for the best toon, keeping in mind the skill it has taken to create it. (That is, a toon which looks identical may still not win, if there is one that is a really good attempt at something harder)
Anyway, to cut to the chase, is this something that you guys would be interested in? (Assuming you're into cossie comps in the first place)
