My scrapper pvp's and pve's, do we think one or 2 accuracy SO's in his attacks?

Say x3 dmg, x1 acc & x2 defence debuff?
or
x3 dmg, x2 acc & x1 defence debuff?

Definitely 2xAcc. I assume you're either BS or Kat, which only debuff defence by a small amount. I would replace that DefDebuff with either an End Reduction or Recharge, depending on your secondary.

You will also probably need Focused Accuracy besides the two acc enhancements.

I do fine with 1 acc and focused acc. I have 3 damage, 1 acc, 2 recharge and have a good combo with Golden Dragonfly, and Soaring Dragon with Sting of the Wasp to fill the wait while they charge.

Of course just saving for an overhaul onto IOs.

I really don't notice the defence debuff so don't really bother slotting it.

But thats just me so.

I'd say there's plenty of other things you cans lot instead of Def Debuff. i haven't slotted any into me BS attacks, IMO a waste of more useful slots. I think I have 3dam, 1xacc, 1xend redux (cos it's BS/Invuln) and 1x recharge along with Focussed accuracy. i am tempted to drop FA and put a to-hit into my taunt aura and I now have all lvl 50 IO accuracies in my attacks. not sure TBH.

Like FireKitty, I recommend slotting your attacks with 2xAcc, 3xDam and 1xEndRed or Recharge (depending on your secondary). The defence debuff really isn't worth slotting.

I recently took a Katana/SR scrapper to 50 (just over a week ago). I played solo most of the time on Invince setting so always against higher level mobs. Before focused accuracy I went with only 1 acc slotted. I found along with Buildup i had no real problem hitting anything. Once I got FA I 6 slotted it with 3 tohit buffs and 3 endred and run it constant and have no Acc in my attacks at all and still hit everything fine. At level 50 my atacks are slotted 3dam 2rcgh and 1end so my attack chains fly along. Of course this is purely a PvE setup.

The reason I advised 2xacc plus Focused Accuracy is because OP mentione PvP. In my opinion, or PvPing with regular IO's, I'd go 2xacc/3xdmg and the either 1xrchg or 1xendrdx depending on the attack, secondaries, pool powers etc... plus Focused Accuracy.
It becomes tricky when set bonuses come into equation, with the 5% acc bonus Katana inherent, 1xacc enhancement, Focused Accuracy and some +acc set bonuses the OP may just slot 1xacc on the attack, but that would mean to look for specific +acc sets that may be the ones he needs or not, or even may force him to add another enhc of a particular set for the +acc bonus that he wasn't planning to.

Usually, when slotting a full set on one attack you get the accuracy equivalent along the lines of 1.25 or 1.5 acc IO's, plus some +acc bonus from sets that are not necessarily related to melee attacks, so if set bonuses involved, then it's impossible for me to give an opinion unless I see the intended build on Mid's Hero Designer.

When it comes to PvP I would bow to anyone elses experience as it isnt something I ever build for. Thanks on the grats and I have to admit it was one fun toon. Was sweet payback time for all them CoT's and Carnies that had abused my poor Blaster.

Not that I PvP a lot myself, just occasionally in zones. 2xacc plus FA is one of the advices I've been given to improve my PvP and it literally doubled my PvP performance, I used to faceplant in 3 seconds now I faceplant on 6 seconds.
