Good Idea or Bad Idea? Since I've just started up my SS/Fire brute.

Skip both, can't imagine two powers that would work worse together

Ahh, Just noticed it says it has Knockback >< thought it just stunned.

If there's any immobolize powers from the patron power sets such as Scirocco's on your brute, you can combine that with handclap to effectively disorient your opponents without knocking them all over the place.

But if they are imob they won't beheld to run from burn anyways ¬.¬ I thought stun would be effective since it would take them longer to escape the burn patch but I don't need the KB :P

Immobolize would prevent them from running anyway. Remember that:

Hold - target is unable to take any action. However, knockback and stuff will affect it (providing target does not have mag resistance to knockback).
Immobolize - target is unable to move around the map. Target can still take stationary actions such as attacking. Knockback/knockdown will not affect target.

I'm pretty sure immobolize would mean they wouldn't be able to run from Burn...

Burn and the patron AoE immob is a great combination.

Stomp and burn works pretty well too least until patron levels

Also, stunned enemies often scatter more, because they start moving away and keep moving even when they escape burn, and go in random directions.

Stomp+Burn is good, so would be a patron immob+burn, or better yet a dominator AoE immob + Burn.
