Out of curiosity, which part of the text I should try to import to the herobuilder, because I got unhandled exception trying to copy the text between the lines.

You didnt answer my question, but I got it to work.

ps. Change the level of your IOs to 50, since level 53 IOs dont exist.

The build doesnt look too bad, although acrobatics does not need 2 end reduxes. Pretty much everyone makes this mistake, they look at the values from nofuture, but dont realize that its value is per 1 second instead of per 0.5 secs of most toggles.

not sure where im gonna put that slott from acro then :P

I would suggest dropping one recharge each from Build Up and Hasten, one jumping from Hurdle, one endurance modification from stamina and one endurance reduction from acrobatics and one recharge reduction and one endurance modification from power sink, since ED is making those slots fairly marginal. Likewise I would change one of the interrupt mods in aid self to something else.

Actually, I would take grounded instead of acrobatics - with the seven slots freed up you can slot that fairly well to boost your negative energy resistance, and still have slots left to add a few -knockback IOs to resistance powers if the knockback protection mag is not enough for your liking. I'd also slot power surge with a recharge mod.

Personal opinion only of course

Here is what I came up with if you are interested (only made the changes I suggested above, didn't want to play with your build too much ) :

This gives you mag -8 knockback protection even if your toggles are dropped somehow, plus higher negative energy resist, at the price of some slight reductions here and there.

Feel free to critique

I would suggest dropping one recharge each from Build Up and Hasten, one jumping from Hurdle, one endurance modification from stamina and one endurance reduction from acrobatics and one recharge reduction and one endurance modification from power sink, since ED is making those slots fairly marginal. Likewise I would change one of the interrupt mods in aid self to something else.

You don't PVP much, do you?

Correct, but (and here is the question) does that tiny edge make that much of a difference? The ED presumably still hits before any account (for example, on recharge) is taken of slow effects?

Happy to be corrected if it truly makes a major difference, I'm genuinely interested.

[edit] Educate me - I'm always happy to learn something new - if it makes a big difference, why does it do so?

The powers would be weaker if i did this, not too much, but i will still notice this. About aid self, yesterday i dueled psydocks ice/em blaster. He had snow storm from the epic powers, which made it to a total pain to use aid self. I lost like 50-60% of my end when i tried use it. Thats why i have 3 -inturupt in it.

[/ QUOTE ] Can be a good idea, but i got acro for the held res it gives and the knockback protection. Getting acro also saves me the slotts i need for the IO knockback enhancements, which i can use for better things. Btw, Grounded only works when ur standing on the ground, and this toon doesnt really stand still when hes pvping.

Your build is pretty nice but i like mine better, i think its better in arena stuff

Fair enough - if the build works for you then that is all that matters

Thanks for the rationale.

nice build mate
assume u wont use this toon in zonal pvp much with all the IOs being lvl 50
i would only 3 slot bu with membranes and move the 2 extra slots on charged armor and conductive shield and put a impervious skin: status resistance in for a bit extra mez res when u fight trollers/doms

also i would drop either swift or hurdle and get health and slot it with numina: regen/recov and miracle: recov for more end

[/ QUOTE ] yepp thats true, he is mainly a arena toon as i said before

If Im not mistaken that 3rd SO is like +25% compared to 33%ish of the 1st or 2nd SO. Thats not 'little' by my standards.

The aid self interrupt is one of those things that must be as high as possible. With 3-slotted intered SOs I managed to use aid self against Dark Blasphemys rad/psi a total of one times during the match when the debuffs were on me. EAch time I destroyed my own end by spamming it. Im tempted to punch anyone who says that its even possible to use aid self under the toggle debuffs.

3 IO's and one rad toggle then it would work lol

If Im not mistaken that 3rd SO is like +25% compared to 33%ish of the 1st or 2nd SO. Thats not 'little' by my standards.

The aid self interrupt is one of those things that must be as high as possible. With 3-slotted intered SOs I managed to use aid self against Dark Blasphemys rad/psi a total of one times during the match when the debuffs were on me. EAch time I destroyed my own end by spamming it. Im tempted to punch anyone who says that its even possible to use aid self under the toggle debuffs.

was he using both rad toggles?

Don't forget the OP's build was using IO's, which are worth 42.4% each - 2 interrupt reds gives a 0.5s interrupt against 0.46s for 3 interrupt red IO's. I take the point about not wanting to be interrupted in PvP, but 0.04s difference is fairly minor when you consider you get reductions from 1s to 0.66s for the first IO and to 0.5s for the second IO.

[edit] I think many players would kill for a unique IO that gave a global reduction to interrupt times

If its for PVP, lose grounded and get acrobatics.
Are the level differences in the IOs intentional? like lvl 40 crushing impacts? The enhancement levels disturb me..

Personally I'd slot aid self with 3 IO intreds and maybe 3 heal enhs of some sort, if you wanna use it in battle. If its just there for the set bonuses its not much use in combat.

Get hurdle instead of swift.

Okay I agree with all but the aid self...I figure if something can interrupt you at 0.6 secs they can at 0.4 too.

And yeah the lvl of IO's is ment to be the same...ie, 50.

PS: I edited the build in my prevoius post to incorperate your advice.

Erm your interrupt time is 1 second because you dont have intreds in aid self...right? And between 0.6 and 0.4 there is a difference if youre under the influence of a toggle that activates every 0.5 seconds etc. I wouldnt use aid self in PVP myself without 3 intreds these days (well maybe 2 intreds and 1 recharge for casual player), and thats not even attempting to use it under targteted toggle like snow storm or RI.

ps. a question: how many people actually finish these builds they post here at the forums.. I think pretty much all of them are hideously expensive..?

I agree with Hammerfall, my Aid Self always has 3 Heals and 3 IntRedux's; with that I can heal through things such as Snow Storm and the Pocket D TP field.
