First Attempt At EM/Stone IO Build!
Just not sure if you need Tough with Stone Skin? I'd take a close look at those numbers, and maybe drop the fighting pool. To help fury build up on my stone stone brute, I run the brawl constantly.
I also do fine without taunt power itself, and slotting a taunt IO in all my AoE attacks. Keeps the aggro up just perfect. I guess this is a PvP/PvE build? Looks great man!

Well, I havn't got anything else I'd like other than Tough, and I have it on two of my level 50s and it makes a huge difference. I kinda made this char as you said, to be able to tank RSF but also back people about with reasonable ability in PvP!
Only a great disliking to Weave has stopped me getting it, and lack of slots.
I've talked to a couple of mates who have Tough and Weave and they say it makes a noticible difference, and I like it.
I would like to slot taunt in the AoE attacks but that would mean reducing my damage output, and Taunt enables me to tank the Heroes in RSF easily.
And thanks for the compliments, means a lot!
Ahh Light Graventite, I have fought you before, and lost mostly hehe "8ngaHroSndwch" you may recall chewing me up a bit as Light Graventite.
A few questions. The other two brutes that you do have Tough with, are they stone armor?
If not stone or fire armor, yeah I would say Tough for sure. I'm pretty sure that stone skin puts you at the resistance cap that Tough would also. Please if you can, look at the numbers of Stone Skin vs Tough, is all I am asking man.
I have found for my stone stone brute that not slotting any attacks for damage, but rather Endo Reduction, Recharge Reduction and accu, plus the taunt slots in my AoE's, I can keep stamina up and just rely on fury for damage.
If you choose to swap out Fighting because of the numbers of stone skin vs tough, then I respectfully recommend Teleport. Its great with Rooted and Granite,to drop into mobs, as a puller and a group travel power ( i have stealth on my stone brute, and will often stealth to end of mission, tp group, and get that mission XP quickly.
I guess about taunt, hey thats your goal, go for it. For PvE, for me, slotting an IO taunt in AoE stuff is just perfect for keeping fury up while not getting too much aggro. I'm not going to serioulsy pvp with a stone stone yet so...
My m8s energy/invun brute has taunt, and he gets himself too much aggro sometimes, and I am left with angry mob I cannot run from hehe.
Please, just asking that you look at the numbers of stone skin and tough. I think you will see that Stone Skin IS your Tough.
The last thing I would ask you play around with is this: Stacking the exact same sets for the same set bonus's more on the armor defensive/resist side of things? It can be worth it later on in the build to six slot something to stack the same set bonus IMVHO.
With my MM, Im swapping around my pet sets so all 3 sets are the same, so I get the same set of bonus's, in my case, recovery and defense. So if you want titanium skin, get it twice so it stacks with itself.
Also I know it is very very expensive, but there are three healing set IO's that give recovery, regen, recovery+regen increases for a small amount of time. For a stone or fire armor, or a good MM, any one or two of these would make you fairly unkillable if the other parts of your build are there.
I know you are a good player at least. Think of what a stone brute could do with increased recovery and regen on top of your bonus's. Ok now stop drooling

PS. You are the only scrapper out there besides the good spine scrapper builds that scares me. Id rather take on any two non spineys scrappers with my MM than you solo, and this is after TP telegankage. I have come across katana, broadsword, dark, other MA's, and pretty much chew them all up. Cheers man! Well done
PPS: you may find in PvE and non hero tanking situations, not wasting an attack animation taunting and rather attacking while taunting may enable you to do more damage over time, because of the aggro you will be drawing to yourself, also the aggro you draw will be right next to you, to smash. Just a thought m8. I'n not very familiar with energy melee, except at the recieving end, so if you do not have three AoE attacks to slot a taunt in, it will be different for ya.
Wow... I don't think I've ever made such an impression on someone.
And I only have 1 Brute at level 50 with Tough, but I'll say no more about that! *Covers up Enhancement Screen with body* My build!
OK, just for you I'll play around with not getting Tough, and about Numina's Cal-something-I-can't-spell, those are yes, very useful and give a nice regen and recovery bonus, but costs about 20 million per enhancement, I just don't have that type of cash!
And I'm mostly gonna be in Granite, which is why I haven't got any other armours other than Stone Armour. And my mate has a 240 million inf build, very nice regen, I can drool at that.
I'll try and fiddle around with the build, see what Tough does and see if I can get some Taunt IOs in my attacks, thanks for your help!
Oh yes, and thanks for the compliments about my Scrapper, I didn't think he was that good!
Mids Hero Builder Numbers:
Tough = 11.3 Damage Resistance @.32 a second
Stone Skin = 7.5 Damage Resistance @ no cost a second.
I believe that Stone Skin uses a lot less Endo than Tough also, while preserving a power pool for you to use. Stone Skin is passive and always running. And costs no endo according to Mids hero planner. M8, its just a way IMVHO to save stamina, and a whole power pool.
Um yer scrapper is good. Only Fire Tanks/Brutes and you survive multiple poison traps(not counting chippy granites). Whatever you doing, its working! Id pay to see the secondary build on him! well almost..

Ok, so with my slotting, Stone Skin'll give me an auto 11.6% smash/lethal resistance. With Tough that becomes 29.7%. With Granite on and not Tough, I've got 69.4% smash/lethal resistance, with Tough that becomes 87.5%.
The numbers have won over you argument I'm afraid lol, I'm sticking with Tough, make me even harder to kill.
And all these percentages are from Mid's.
Ok, I've just put together this level 50 respec build for my EM/stone Brute, as you may have noticed from the title of this post.
Anyway, I'm kinad going for recharge and HP in my set bonuses, oh yes, and accuracy, lovely lovely accuracy....
So here my build is!

Ok, I went with Doctored Wounds rather than Numina's Convalescence because I prefer tha recharge bonuses rather than the regen, and I don't have 10 million to spend on each one lol
Anyway, tear this build apart like a kitten in a starving lion enclosure!!
P.S. Mid's is also an amazing Hero Builder, bravo!
