So I can hibernate while the 10 second suppression wears off, and my pets beat up the mobs.

I've no idea to be honest. I've Hibernate & Steamy Mist but its impossible to tell really. I've never tried to "fade into the background" in this way.
Copy to test and see what happens I suppose.
Even if it does happen once the PAs vanish I bet you'd regain the aggro, stealthed or not as theres a specific aggro transfer to you when they drop.
Tested it. seems to work, isn't overwhelming though.
Makes it even more difficult to decide what epic to respec into.

Its great for me as a End top-up. But you're TA aren't you, so your End shouldn't be too drained.
But think about Burning Oil Slick & Ice Storm... Mmmmm. Of course Power Boosted EMP Arrow sounds awfully useful too.
I'm Ice with my Illusion/Storm and planning Primal for my Grav/TA staminaless build. That doesn't help you much really 
I go through end quite quickly sometimes, since most of the time I'm running SI and hover, and EMP arrow has its end recovery debuff.
I've had Fire, but respeced to energy for Power Boost (which I am 1 level short of yet), but am not to keen on it. I'm not conviced I really need power boost. Most of my holds seem to last long enough anyway (I am built for very high damage output), or are compleatly nullified by PTOD.
The other appeal of Ice is Frozen Armor, which as +def should help keep me invisible. The drawback is it doesn't give me a power to ignite oil slick, limiting me to apprentice charm, which is ralther short range, or Phant doing the right thing at the right time.

If you EMP Arrow & then Hibernate will you recover though? Won't the EMP -recovery nullify Hibernate for a while? Whereas Conserve Power will help by halving the amount you spend while dealing with the -recovery of EMP.
Ice Storm & Burning Oil slick though. Imagine the fun! Dump them with a Glue Arrow and then Hibernate to avoid all the grief you'll get....
hmm, would the -recovery of EMP cancel out consume? Could be a good reason to not respec back to fire, even through consume would not only ignite the oil slick, the oil slick would count as a mob to recover from.

Consume is +End though, not +Recovery. So it should do quite nicely following an EMP and Oil Slick. Its like popping a Blue.
Lighting it with Consume is a great idea. Never thought of that.
Does Superior Invisibility function when Hibernate (controller epic) is on?
