i'd say bot/psn is perfectly capable of soloing AVs at AV-level. Thusfar I've soloed every AV in the game (lvl 43 atm, so AVs up till the 40-45 content 
) with fair ease. Of course it all depends on builds/playstyle. But i would say bot/psn is a pretty good combo to take em down, together with aforementioned bots/dark.

done mynx solo, no probs at all.. the only 2 AVs that were somewhat of a challenge were infernal (fire dmg vs bots = nasty) and lillitu. I even soloed Ghost of Scrapyard with my build many moons ago. Mind I dont try to keep all my bots alive, vs AVs i use my drones as cannon fodder basically. Also I never ever use bodyguard (used to playing MM when bodyguard wasnt implemented yet) so maybe that has something to do with it.
Thing is, your playstyle needs to be adapted to it, you cant expect to just stand there and blast away (like most MMs i find do). A pro-active, aggressive, way of playing gets ya a long way.

Thanks for all the advice over the last. . . Year or so (i think i take a while to decide and come up for a good character idea. . . Just a little while. . . xP) some very useful infomation in this thread for people who want to solo AV's ect on a Mastermind.
I have gone for a Thugs/Traps Mastermind, with a theme of natural criminal insanity; the simple pleasure of murder. Time to get this baby going, i have planned my build with a focus on Defence, DeBuffs and Damage (Taken a few attacks as well as Traps). Using Thugs as damage soakers and dealers (picked up the Medicine pool too) however this leaves me with no Travel Power which i am ok with because i am completely natural.

I found it fairly easy to solo a couple of heroes and AV's with my main Mastermind. Robots/FF.
Might not seem the best sets to try soloing, but I can seem to handle it. =D
Ms. and Miss Liberty got freaking owned. I was fairly chuffed.^_^
My defence is slotted so damn good I managed to finish off Valkyrie, as a purple, when the rest of my team died.
Mynx, Nosferatu, and all those other AV's in that SF were..fairly easy, only cos i was in an SF.
The two that get me are Foreshadow. And Seraphina.
Foreshadow - For some reason, Force Bubble didn't do anything. A kung-fu AV that regens and flies? Gimped, I say.
Seraphina - Well, simple really. Psionics cut my bots and I to shreds.
