What message is given when you try to place it?
Is the area you want to place it free of obstructions?
Are those the cheap starter rooms (not sure, but might be that they don't allow them?)

If you have nothing useful to say, you have two choices: Say something useless or stay quiet.
they can be a it fiddley to place some tims but as SG said above check to make sure there is enuff space for them where you wont to place them, sometimes when placeing one up high you cant have anytihng on the floor or wall below it. alos the cheaper rooms you get for starting a base im not sure if they hold anchors or not. the other last thing to rememebr you can only place 6 thats all you need
and finaly if your not aware yet you cant actuly get an iop at the moment the cathedral of pain where you get one has a number of bugs/problems that are slowly being worked on so we cant actuly get an iop at the moment

I'm really sorry if anyone else has already asked that question...but my search didn't have any results.
Well... I'm a leader of an sg and we are trying to get our first IoP. I have obtained a raid teleporter, mission computer, vault with IoP base and already have 8 rooms.
I tryied to put some anchors but exept transportation,control and energy rooms couldn't place them anywhere else. I know that vault and entrance rooms can't have anchors, but medbay and workshop ??? can't put there either.
any suggestions???
