I'd say no that's like changing builds

Its more like changing accounts to use someone else's character or just changing characters so you can min max the team to gain the advantage over the team your fighting.

People would abuse it, though, and use it as a way to switch teammates based on who they're fighting.

If the tourny's supposed to be a set team 8v8, then it should really stay that way.

Sad as it might sound that they couldnt get a team i belive also that it present an unfair advantage.
