Posion Trap which one works better?

Poison trap on Poison set kinda is pretty lousy
Poison trap on Traps is way way way better.

To clarify things: Poison Trap and Poison Trap are not even remote relatives and share almost nothing but the name. They have totally different effects and while the /Traps one is actually really good (Hold and regeneration debuff) I have never seen an application of /Poison´s Poison Trap that had any major influence on the outcome of a fight (Sleep, miniscule chance for hold and an endu drain hardly worth mentioning).
If it has eyes, you can blind it, if it has blood, you can make it bleed, if it has a mouth, you can make it scream.
i have a MM with a poison set which is at lvl 50 and another MM with Trap set which is at lvl 35.
Now i have found that my poison one take alot longer to set up and find it hardly work unless i use my accodale power Megalomaniac, but my trap guy has less slots on poision trap atm and it take alot less time and it seem to work hell alot better. Are they meant to be differt or did i do something wrong with my main?
