Well the way my (lvl 40) MM can solo, I think it's fair to say that my build is functional AND it still includes Leadership ... skipped all the attacks from the primary ...

[/ QUOTE ] BUT he wants all the attacks from his primary. you can't have tactics, assault and all of your 'personal' attacks if you want an effective build.

Ok, Firstly thanks for putting up with me.

Basically I want to keep the rest of the build as it is.

The two skills i'm thinking of changing are:
Fearsome Gaze, Petrifying Gaze. Both currently planned with 4 slots.
I can see Feasome would probably be usefull with practice and slotting, but i'll probably do another character for it.
I'll probably like Pet Gaze but will get Soul Strom anyway.

I'm going to push on the level 30ish till a respec
Then as I say I was thinking Assault + Tactics instead but if the boosts are as small as you say probably shouldn't. Although doesn't tactics boost detection/visability, which sounds like I should want it.

Looking at the numbers etc, and the fact I just failed a 'get the giu before he runs' mission slowing and weakening a targat seems really usefull. I also remembered one of the first things that appealed to me with Miasma was the whole summon a black hole thing. I understand that BH is not very good but TAR PATCH has some of the same dark void summoning apeal. Also by the sounds of DARKEST NIGHT it has a funky dark magic apeal. So on reflection I think I will swap the gazes for these.

I realise that in an optimal build I should get rid of my guns and get the Gazes as well and probably Ghost Widows other power but I am happy to forgo these for my own character based preference.

Am I talking somethng like sense now?

[/ QUOTE ] It really is up to you. Boosting detection is only really needed for PvP, in PvE you'll be hard pressed to find an invisble enemy that your pets don't 'Magically' know about anyway. (My Necro/Dark couldn't see an invisible ghost... but my Grave Knights sure could ) Now that you are concidering using Tar patch and Darkest Night I relent and allow you to chose any powers you like... as long as they are Tar patch and Darkest night
