I don't think its unfair on the ones that never bothered to transfer a toon. There were posts about a badge being awarded to those that had transferred before the close date. Also any money paid was not for the badge it was for playing on the US Servers. The transferance and badge were free.

Yeah, but the key thing is, if you really wanted it on your badge character, you could have got it. US players had no way of getting it.
