I've used loops of your first stretch and then pitched your second stretch down an octave to get a real grunge sound on it, I've mixed the guitars with some Rock/Hip-Hop style percussion and have used a Trumpet, Glock, Cello, Strings and some other synthy bits to makeup the mix.
I've produced this in my small home studio, it took around 3 hours in total but I haven't tried to master it for CD, hopefully it sounds OK ;-)

This is an ABSOLUTELY INSANE remix mate, it takes a little while to load up, for those who just have a white screen at the start it will come up, if you need some more CoX related music for me to cover and for you to remix, will post it up as I figure it out.

So sit back, relax and enjoy this little introduction to what hopefully will be start of a series of compositions inspired by the virtual world of CoX.
Ok this is a little project that I decided to undertake recently, because everything has a "Co" in it usually i decided to call this CoM- City of Music. I always wondered how i could mix my love of music with the game, so i could get the best of both worlds, and still post my work on here without it being too off topic. So what I did was sit down, listen to the opening tune on the CoV login screen and 30 minutes later I had composed my own version of it using a guitar, an fx pedal and some recording software. In the future I hope to remix some more songs from the game, as I've been told I do have a musical ear
