I'd seriously start checking your contacts to start moving into other areas, sounds like you are stuck in the Hollows still. When you get into other areas where you get more groups using mass holds and varied tactics the fun, and the frustration kick in a bit more, but after a while it becomes a pleasure to dive into mobs head first on the attack

BS/Invuln can be very annoying at early levels. As you said, mobs start doing fire and cold attacks, which you're weak to. Stick with it though, one you get unyielding and invincibility you'll be sorted! i know, i've been there! make sure you have Dull pain as well, and try to slot BS attacks with end redux and recharge, they're quite damaging without Dam at early levels as very few critters have Res to talk about.

BS is a stupidly end heavy set and the togs on invuln will not help much with that, aim to have stamina ASAP.
it will all be worth it the first time a stalker tries to AS you in pvp and only hits you for 1/4 of your health after which you hit him with headsplitter and crit for 900 dmg

Losing faith in scrapping, then read this. Its abit old now but most of it still holds true its only really powers that have changed the ideas are still valid.
hmmm..... much to think about. just a last quick qestion. am i fool for taking parry on BS or should i take something more smashy?
I find Parry really good if you put Defence buffs in, since then it'll allow you to land the next few hits without you getting hit back.
Parry is a must, slot for acc and def buff and you'll do just fine. Stick it on auto (ctrl +click the power) so whenever you change target it'll fire off if available.

You don't HAVE TO get that character to 50. Just make something you do like and play that instead.
