What do you think ?
Usually teaming with an Illu / Empath troller, and rarely solo, PvE only.

And before you ask, I never ever use Electric Fence, if i could skip it, I would.

Taking PFF and the repulsion field purely as panic buttons, with FoN as the ultimate panic button or when I just want to show off and know I'm gonna faceplant in seconds if I try to rely on Defiance.

Also, taking Hasten that late purely because the recharge on Archery doesn't really need it imo, but always nice to have at some point I guess. Could fit it in earlier if I felt the need tho.

Swift / Hover / Fly are slotted so that I don't bang my head on a wall when trying to cross a zone

Last but not leas, taking hurdle because I quite frankly don't have a need for Health as a blaster, and that quite only leaves hurdle

Everything looks great, but im trying for the life of me to find 3 more slots for Charged Brawl to get 3xDmg in there. Maybe one from Fly (IIRC, 2 in fly and one in swift is about flight cap), one from swift and one from Rain.

Rain doesnt really need Acc from my experience. Certainly not 2. Mine's slotted 3xDmg, 1xAcc, 2xRech. I tend to only use it with Aim and Buildup and its got an inherently high Acc of its own i think.

My Arch/Elec is 35 and is a joy to play. Great AoE from the primary and great ST from the secondary. I run without stamina, as Arch is pretty End light, and a bit of Endred slotting on the heavy secondary powers keep me ticking over. Havent played him much since getting Power Sink, but the little i have tried pretty much tell me any End troubles i had were over.

Reason behind the 2 slots in charged Brawl is that as it is, I'm much more a ranged archer than a blapper

Figure that once I get Thunderstrike, the only melee attacks I'll use when I have to will be Thunder and Havoc, since those two really pack quite a punch.

If fly speed caps with 2 SO's in fly and one in swift tho, I'll definitely swap those slots around.

As for Rain, I think I'll start with only one Acc when I get it and see how it goes and if I need to add another acc in there.

Edit : did a bit of search on the boards, and it seems to be the consensus that 2 SO's in Fly and one in swift will cap the Fly speed so this revised build is confirmed

I believe charged brawl is worth slotting more, but what is repulsion field doing in there? Get temp invulnerability instead.

If you want to be a ranged blaster then I suggest putting the end redux back into fly.. Or slotting up hover.

If you want to be a ranged blaster, why /elec? Just curious. Seeing as /dev would have a bit more range helping stuff, and /energy has its great buffs. Plus, all of its melee attacks, or "Panic buttons" As I suspect your build would use them as stun, except for power thrust that knocksback. Using these, you can easily stun bosses. That'd be 3 guaranteed stuns you'd have access to, one of which can stun bosses on its own (Total focus can *I think*), and on top of that another 2 which have a chance to stun, and one that knocksback all unresistant enemies. Also, you get boost range, which means you can snipe from miles off. And powerboost, for the stuns.

Of course, if you're enjoying this build, then please go ahead, especially if you've made a start on it. Just offering my piece of the pie.

Repulsion field is there as a panic button, no more, no less. I need to get two powers to unlock FoN and I quite simply don't want / need the shield, I'm constantly teamed with an empath.

Regarding the end redux in fly : as it is, archery is really light on end, with a 3 slotted end I never ever see my bar go below 50%. Hover with 2 slots is fine enough for me speed wise, lets me avoid the KBs and fire off a snipe mid fight if needed.

Now, regarding Elec : I plainly like it better than NRG. It looks better, it feels better, and when mobs somehow get into melee range, it obliterates them. Besides, it has the almighty Power Sink which is a nice plus for me, I might be able to spec out of stamina once I get, freeing up some more power slots. And if I keep sta, I will never ever again have end issues, something I'm looking forward to after my granite brute

As far as /dev goes, I already have an AR/traps ruptor, and like Elec much much better anyway.

So far the toon is working fabulously, my empath partner just got Fortitude and I'm now a perma killing machine
Getting SO's tonight, should be really nice.

Just can't wait for Rain of Arrows.

Yes, rain of arrows is pure awesome. I just assumed that from what you said you'd be a mainly range build, but if you like /elec, good for you! Power sink IS melee btw.

I thought that too, (mainly becuase I had a 50 Nrg/Nrg) but then I rolled an Arch/Elec, and must say, */Elec seriously kicks bottom.

If I was going to roll a Blapper now, i'd pick Elec over Nrg.

Sod that...ice/fire combo is where it's at in terms of blapping! (remember you can still use your ranged attacks when up close and personal!)
Fire sword and fire sword circle roxxors!

Like Shnyet said, its not worth slotting Rain for Acc..
I have mine slotted 3xDmg, 3xRech, so I can get it back ASAP and use it on almost every mob.
EndRdx is not needed in PFF, and try to get 3xRech in FoN and use it more often.
Repulsion field is not worth it IMHO.. Only drains end, and PFF is a better panic-button. You can also use PFF for stealthing/ghosting.
I also have all of my attacks 6-slotted, but this probably wont work with your build, since there are attacks in your secondary, that needs slots, unlike devices who hardly needs any.

I referred to the existence of boost range, which imo fits those who want to be specifically 'ranged', and no other secondary has anything like it. Correct me if Im wrong but /elec has a grand total of 2 ranged attacks when you don't count PBAoEs. I don't see them as useful. Conserve power and power boost also have their uses in /en.

Ps. fire has even less. PBAoEs count as melee in my books, btw.

pps. I have my own opinions what makes an effective blaster, and discriminating between ranged and melee isnt part of it.
