Looking for the heroe that calls himself Auum

As it says above. I tried sending a message to @Auum but the global doesnt seem to exist. I've also tried searching CGT and CiT to no avail.

Any other ideas where else I can do a name search?

When did you last speak to him? It's possible he could have used that free global name change.

I've never spoken to him. Hm, re-reading my opening post, I realise I wasn't very clear.

I was told the name 'Auum' was already in use during the character creation process on Defiant. That's all I have to go on. I tried sending to @Auum in a stab in the dark attempt at contact, but it doesn't appear to exist.

As far as I know, this is a never-used alt on a no-longer subbing ex-player.

What happens to global messages when your account is not active? Are they stored or is the sender told you don't exist?

But on the chance that he/she reads here, I'd love to hook up since the name implies we share similar interests and there might be some RP prospects in there.

afaik global messages are stored, it only returns the non-existant message if that global name isnt taken.

I think thats the only way to get hold on him, short of sending an in game email.

Ok, so in-game emails... never tried these and I'm not at home atm to verify. I assume you can send to specific characters, not globals. And if so, can you type the name or do you need to right click from your friend list etc first?

I guess I'll just test this out tonight.

tbh dunno, never used it much myself, always just leave global tells.. i assume you type the name in, and i'd say its to characters and not globals, as you access it from specific characters and if it was global, that would send to any of your characters... hmm i didn't explain that very well.

uhm lvl 12 or 13 now, not sure. Had a good run last week, but keep getting into teams with people who have -3 lvl's frostfire mishes >.< i still stick around to complete them, but haven't leveled much this weekend, ah well

Ok, just an update for those interested or curious. I was able to send an email to a character named Auum. There's no way to tell whether it gets read or not. I also tried sending to a non-existent name, some jibbrish random name I input by stroking the keyboard, and it told me that it wasn't valid.

So I guess I've done all I can do. Fingers crossed.

If you put auum into your global ignore it comes up with the players global name, or so I have been told, never bothered trying it myself (obviously remove them before you contact them )

This works only if the player comes online.
