FF/Psi - what should I take
Get Force Bolt, the only actual fun power in the FF set(not counting Force Bubble in PVP here). Good for perma knockdown, great for combining with TK blast. You seem to have all the good Psi powers, except maybe Psychic Wail. I had this on my defender before ED and with Power Build up, it was an OK power then, not sure how good it is now, especially now that you end up with no end and -recovery for a short time.
I'd skip Psionic Tornado. It's ok for a controller epic if you can get Fulcrum shift and containment before dropping it. If you don't get that it's a fairly useless drain of endurance.
Detention Field can be handy at times, I suggest you give it a try and then respec it out if you don't like it.
I highly suggest looking a Sonic Resonance as an alternative primary though. While it's a similar set to FF, it has some key differences which makes it much more useful in PVE.
I also find it kind of ironic that you roll this for PVE and comment that you already have all your PVP toons. This is much more effective in PVP than PVE.
What mesmer said. I like tornado, particularly for the Knock-Up effect, but then i'm kinetics, so i get good damage from it too. Could be good slotted for acc, end and recharge as a soft control option i suppose though i've never tried it.
Sonics does indeed have more tricks, but personally i prefer def to res (on squishies anyway) but either is good. Only powers i'd really advise skipping in both sets are the kb fields in FF and scramble thoughts..though again, if you go more for a support roll the status effect powers in psi could be really useful to you. I say get em, try em, then respec out the ones that dont suit you

I'd change one of the accuracies here, to an interrupt reduction, or just remove one slot. This power is already highly accurate and you've even got Tactics to boost it more, so 2 acc's are not really needed.

Health helps very little on low hitpoint AT's as it's regen rate is expressed in a percentage of your total hitpoints. The number of hitpoints you regen at a time won't be that much when you're taking damage, to the point where it won't help you at all. On a Tank though, it's much more helpful because they can get their hitpoints up to 3000+. So the will gain much more hitpoints back per tick. I'd suggest taking Swift here and using the slots on something else.

Another highly accurate power. One acc should be enough. You can exchange it for a recharge so you can use it more often. Nuking is fun afterall.

No hold durations in this?? I guess it depends on how you plan to use it, but I'd defenitely slot this as a hold and not as an attack. If I had access to Dam/Mez Hami-O's I'd slot this as both though.

Heyas!
Right now, my Defender is level 8 and, since I'm having so much fun with him, I decided to keep it. He will be used for PvE, I already have my PvP toons.
Now, I would like some advices on what powers should I take.
Currently I have:
- PFF, Deflection and Insulation Shield
- Mental Blast, Subdue
- Combat Jumping
I'll definetly have:
- Dispersion Bubble, Force Bubble
- Telekinetic Blast, Will Domination, Psychic Wail
- SJ, Acrobatics
- Assault, Tactics and Vengeance
- Fitness Pool
Is Detention Field worth it?
What about Psionic Tornado?
Any other useful powers?
