Well, it depends. Stealth will not provide you with full invisibility. And you will have to turn off Invisibility to attack. There is also a lot of perception going round on both sides, so most of the time you really cannot rely on the Stealth powers keeping you invisible.

No. Only the highest level of stealth is applied - the only thing that stacks with other types of stealth powers is Stalkers' Hide.

I always thought that Stealth could stack with Superior invisibility?
Superior Invisibility (1200ft. of Stealth according to City of Data) will make you as invisible as you can, you'll reach the Stealth Cap (575ft for a lv 50 non-stalker) using just that power. Even if it did stack, any excess Stealth would be lost.

Theoretically yes, but once you hit the cap (575ft on a lv 50 non-stalker), you won't benefit from additional Stealth. Grant Invis gives you (according to City of Data) 666ft of Stealth, so unless you're a Stalker, you are capped from just one application.
Perception and Stealth are compared after the caps are applied, so going over the cap doesn't help any.

I thought nothing stacks with superior invis?
Its my understanding that the invis/shealth do not stack with superior invis but the defense bonus does.

Sorry to ask more inane questions but Id like to know whether its worth having stealth and invisibility in PvP. I generally like to have the pool open on most of my characters for PvE purposes but Im not sure whether it will be worth it in PvP. I imagine that a lot of people will have tactics buffs up to their eyeballs so will be able to see straight through invis and stealth. Is this the case?
However, I will probably be teaming with an illusion controller so will stealth stack with group invisibility?
