Hi guys

Seen mentioned in a few builds for Scrappers that Tough is useful in the defence it gives.
As someone who's no experience with this power at all which pool does it come from and does it need many slots to be good?

Upto 32 on my Ma/Regen just now and a spare power at 35 i'm not sure what to take. Is Tough the first power in the pool or do i need to lumber myself with some thing else first?

Alternatives at the moment for a power seems to be Resilience , Tough (depending on answers here) , SS (already have Hasten but also got fly as travel)or Stealth?

Don't want a power thats going to take a lot if any slots as i've earmarked my next load for healing regen powers.

Cheers.

hmm fighting pool 3th power would be tough you'll need atleast one skill from the fighting before you can take it...

What ever...
Just get it...
Over with all ready...

Second pick from the Fighting Pool, needs 5 slots to be fully decent:
3 damage resistance and two endurance reduction SOs.

For a scrapper it gives about a 18% boost in resistance to Smashing and Lethal damage when slotted.

As a Regen you don't need tough, but it can help slightly... make sure you've got Dull Pain/Instant Healing/Reconstruction/Quick Recovery first.

TBH, I'd take Air Superiority from the flight pool over it assuming you went the [Hover --> Fly] route.

Don't bother with Stealth, and Resilience is really of negligable benefit anymore.

Mmmm , Tough's out then. I did get Air Sup as i think it's a great power already.

Lol , Maelwys , you've ruled out all my options there

I got all the Regen powers you mentioned. That leaves me with SS!

Which is a decent choice if you have no options of greater importance. SS+Fly ist something like a license to be-there-first... almost regardless where "there" is.

If it has
eyes, you can blind it, if it has blood, you can make it bleed, if it has a mouth, you can make it scream.

Aye, SS isn't the worst pick...

What're your Martial Arts choices?

Cobra Strike but i have Eagle Claw now and Crippling Axe Kick (i think its called) which someone else advised me not to take.

Right enough another attack can't really do any harm and i don't have any End problems just now and SS for me would be a bit of a luxery.

TBH I'm not that familiar with the MA set, but it looks like Eagles Claw and Crane Kick are your two big Single Target attacks... Crippling axe kick seems to have decent damage but is kinda slow activation.

Maybe Combat Jumping? Can be very useful for a all-melee range toon for manuvering in the air, and is very low endurance (doesn't even need an endred).

You can always respec later!

When Ive been planning my MA/regen scrapper I havent included crippling axe kick. It has been nicely buffed to make it usable, but I think you don't need to get everything from primary.

I have Crippling Axe Kick on my MA/Regen because it does more damage than Thunder kick and Storm kick and also has that nice immob and -spd

Defiant's GoEH/MILITIS METUS

mmmm , if i take Crippling Axe kick i'm going to have to divert slots from my Heals i had planned to make it effective.

Lummy , nice to have choices i suppose

Thanks for the input peeps.
