I have a level 49 energy/dark brute and personally I love cloak of darkness. the +def is useful, the +per comes in very handy in later levels (yes, in PvE). I pretty much have it on constantly, it just makes life so much easier both in missions and when walking the streets.
I like the +per and the slight stealth from it. You can be fighting one group and the group right next door will ignore you.
Night Widdows are nasty without it for a start, and it looks good

my EM/Dark brute is steadily lvling up and I'm having a blast with it. However, soon I need to decide if I want to get Cloak of Darkness (CoD). Can anybody tell me if it's worth picking up for a brute?
This is a fairly end-heavy build so I don't really need another toggle, however the stealth component is quite nice, and extra defense to all damage types can only be a good thing. Clearly the +Perc is good for PvP, but that's not my immediate concern. So, will this power help me survive during my PvE missions, or can it be taken later as a PvP oriented power?
Any sort of thoughts are appreciated!
