Push yes, thrust no. I, on the other hand only once tried push on my blaster so I dont know how good it is in KBing grounded brutes.

Don't think im gonna be bothered testing out power push with power boost on test server as Im defo not getting it for my dom on live. Somebody else can do that.

On level 50 blaster, push is around 13, while thrust is around 16 KB, so push should still be decent if not quite as good.

Of course, grounded is 15, so thrust does more than that while push (at least unslotted) doesn't do enough on it's own.

The reason other KB protection powers from defensive sets are so much better than Grounded is the fact that while they do decrease KB by 10 units, they also have a 10000% resistance to it.

Whatever the actual formula is on how that resistance is applied, the number is so huge it basically means you just can't be KBd when it is in effect.

So it s best to take grounded first and then later work acrobatics in ?
Is this only for PVP purposes or also works in PVE ?

Acro = PVP

But in CoV you do both so I think I will try and fit both in my build.

Grounded alone is quite fine for PvE.

In fact, for a PvE brute I'd say grounded is far better than Acro, since it has Stun prot.

I can always respec when I need to or have more experience.

Now I need to figure out if I need Stamina on a DM/elec

If im not mistaken you already get disorient prot from static shield.

If you do, it's not doing much.

My wife has a 42 Elec/Elec brute.
She first picked acrobatics, and with static running, kept getting stunned by every single Nullifier / Spec ops longbow, every single Freakshow. Spec'd out of Acro, took Grounded, never got stunned ever since

Nothing against stun.

It's not listed in the power description (which is why she went for Acro in the first place), but test it in game, it does have stun prot.

Basically, we tested it out like this :

One build with all shields on, and acrobatics.
Then the exact same build, same slotting, same everything, but acro swapped out for grounded.

First build got stunned every time against longbows and freaks, second build has yet to get stunned.

So while it's not listed in the power, it's there.
