Introducing: Suckerpunch!
Maybe there should be a separate thread for grabbing teammates and advertising yourself. Im not gonna bother trying to get 5 ppl together, so if someone wants my blaster, Captain Skyfire, in their team send me a PM. Otherwise I guess im not fighting in this one.
Just a note: I would sign up, but my work-schedule precludes me from doing so. It was only with a little wiggling that I was able to show up for Squished (a one-night-only event); trying to arrange times with 9 other people (as happened with S4) proves to be nothing but an exercise in frustration.
I wish you well, though.

well, the fact that its a ladder enabled you planning your own time. Its a challenge-accept-set date thing, with scheduled nights for people who dont want to go through that hassle, but prevents the mandatory showup. Chose this system BECAUSE people have lives.. hell, you might be surprised but even I have one.
So for instance, team A challenges B by PM/tell/whatever, they then both set up a date where they're available and fight on that date. Another option is for team A to show up on the scheduled nights and finds team C hanging out there. A challenges C on the spot and they fight immediately. However I cant make a definate timespan if I dont know how many people will show up. Theres a difference for when 4 teams compete or 40 teams compete..
On top of this, I suspect this tourney to go on for at least a month... of course thats when there are more than 4 teams or so signin up
