Hey dude, very long time no see 
I was gonna start a thread myself but i may as well post in here seeing as i'm on the same wavelength.
I've been a member of this community since the euro beta first hit these shores all those years ago. I've sunk around 2 year of my life into Paragon City which is a damn good innings by any stretch but over the past few months my interest has waned considerably. TBH CoV never appealed as much as CoH and certain technical issues (i.e. Grandville) have, imho, spoiled a very good mmo. The final straw for me came when i rebuilt my machine and never re-installed CoH, that says it all i think.
However, this aint a farewell and thanks for all the fish post. Its more a you wont see me until I8 hits and CoH gets some lovin' post I'm still paying my subs (even tho i'm playing a competitor now) and i hope with everything crossed that i8 will rekindle the spark, the freshness, the excitement of being a superhero. Until then I'd like to thank everyone i've ever played with for being a great bunch of peeps and making a bunch of pixels into a community Special thanks go to the members of The Forgotten Warriors for being a guild par excellence and i hope to see you all sometime in the future clearing the mean streets of scum and villany

Well then, I was right not to say goodbye!
The bad news is, I've been finding myself playing less and less of CoH/V, and more and more of just about any other game (Mainly BF2). Some of you may have noticed my absences from the game, and my all too brief entrances, and exits. having been there, done that and seen just about everything there is to see, I find myself incredibly bored with Paragon City. The only thing I don't have yet is a 50 Villain, but TBH I'm not sure if I can bring myself to play to get one. The missions aren't all that different and it's not enough to keep me interested.
The good news is, as I'm unlikely to change to any other MMO at the moment, I'll keep my sub running. probably. I'm paid up until November I think, so we'll see what the Police band missions and the Faultline revamp brings, but I'll continue to check the forum on a regular basis.
i'd also like to say, although this is my first MMO, i find it extremely unlikely that any other game will have a community, friends and general all-round nice feeling to it as this one has. Everyone I speak to (well, nearly everyone) is friendly, nice and helpful. The Femme's, the FW's, TANC, OotCS, hell, everyone just about, I count as a friend!
