I does work, but I don't really think it's worth it. In PvE they will aggro everything within seconds anyway and in PvP, people will know you're a fire troller even before seeing the imps. But I guess it might help with your team-mates, that's about it really.

I think you would have to target each one individually, the Pet window can help here.
The problem is that you can't tell them not to attack, so they will just charge at the first thing and dispel the invis.
In PvP so many have +per powers against stalkers that they would probably see your imps anyway. I usually summon pets once my opponent is held in PvP anyway. This is because in the PvP zones they tend to aggro the mobs.
I really should do something about this signature.
I have been given an idea by a guide written by Double.
I am thinking of taking Grant Invisibiity to stealth my imps.

My first thought was PvP where the presence of the imps tells the world I am a Fire/* troller anyone think of any other benefits?
