It's a bug that's associated with all the powers using the same body movement animation since the last patch.

At SOME future date, yes. However, I can't quarantee it'll be gone soon.

Is it just me or has our belved lazer eye power gained a brand new incredably irritating sound effect? Seriously, i get a little ROAR sound effect whenever use this power and its drving me up the wall! Reason im posting here is to make sure its not just me thats getting this, if it is, great, scrap the guy, remake and hope i dont get the noise anymore but if its not im sure as hell gettin a petition together to get the noise removed :-\

I seriously have no idea what you're on about. I just tried it and it sounds normal to me. 
EDIT: Oh wait. I think I know what you mean. When you use the attack, before "Beeeeeeeep" of the laser eyes there is a sound like "Brrrrrrrrpppp".
You may not understand my sound effects, but I do.

Look at the date of the thread, and some of the responses. 
This is from almost a year ago when there was a sound effect bug.
