Am I just missing them becuase they hide in their Cloak of Darkeness or are there very few double dark scrappers out there?

Most of the time I see Dark Armour with another primary, usually Claws or yet another kuji kiri ninja type with Martial Arts/Dark Armour. When you do see Dark Mellee it tends to be paired with Regen or Super Reflexes.

Am I something of a rarity with my DM/DA scrapper and if so, why is it such a rare combination?

I've honestly seen 2 on defiant. 3 if you count the level 2 I saw, who I think went on to delete him. And frankly, I don't know why, since DM/DA can you things with dark regen that make regens wet themselves, can debuff to the horror of an SR, and psi foes? Pfft. Tanking carnies is no problem.

We get: the best build up (when it hits 7) Stealth, +perception, MASSIVE heal, MASSIVE debuffs (180% is the highest) fear, stun, 2 large burst damage moves, highest DPS with hasten, end recovery, immob, a minor self heal that damages, the second best self rez in the game (RoTP is the best probably, but with the stun it's debatable), psi res, end drain res, fear res, and with a few well picked pools we can tank far better than a fire, and in some cases ice.

Make us FoTM already!

Crippling? How do you slot and play? I can go through a battle without losing much end, that's with acro, the 3 shields, cloak of darkness, and combat jumping on. If I need FA it drains end, but not much. Even with cloak of fear, the endurance nightmare, I can still last long enough to wipe out about 10 +1 minions.

I know what you mean re the Tanking bit. I was pulling off stuff over the X2 XP weekend that amazed me! 8 to 10 even level mobs all around (I'm LvL 19 btw) me and my biggest prob was endurance (obviously) but even then it was only after a prolonged fight.
I have a Regen scrapper on the go at the moment and admittedly hes a lot lower level but ATM I think Regen will be hard pressed to match DA.

The only thing DA lacks is a knockback protection which makes fighting council a royal pain in the butt but the power pools can get you around that.

If you go SJ, you can take Acro instead of one of the mez powers. Although that causes end drain problems far more than your shields.

Also: When regen gets SOs in integration it ramps up, whereas DA is really a steady curve, I play the way I did when I was level 14.

That what I was always told but ive just got my DM/DA scrapper Natasha Dark up to Lvl 35 tonight and haveing no more end problems then any other AT ive played.

I currently run Dark Embrace, murkey cloud, Obsidion Shield, actro batics & opressive gloom without endurance problems.

I dont have /dark scrappers myself, but after watching conversations it looks like cloak of fear is largely responsible for the legend of crippling end costs. Maybe just drop it and dark is ok?
