A restart
Sorry to bump but as I been playng tonight I did find I got more into playing a illu/kin than an illu/rad. Thoug I am sure this was more to picking illusion powers mop wisely. But to be sure I think I may have skimped on kinetic side f things. A shame as we all in the know are informed on how kinetic buffs rule.
So in particular how would one choose the kin side? And I have to admit Im a bit confused as to how to slot those powers.
Kinetics as a secondary is a bit of a quandry. You've two big decisions : Do I get a Travel Power (you don't need to but Talos / IP might be painful until 28) & Do I need Stamina (I'd say yes & respec out at 35/36).
As for slotting:
The heal should get 2+ accuracy & 3 heal.
Siphon Power 3xrecharge. You can bung an accuracy in there too but you really don't need to.
Siphon Speed 1/2 accuracy & 2+ recharge. 2 acc if you're relying on it as a travel power
Speed Boost : 3xEnd Mod. Don't put +Run Speed in it unless you're feeling like an evil git
ID : Just one Dmg resist will do
Jumpy thing : 3xJump
Transference : 2 accuracy, 2 recharge 0+ End Mod (it gives back lots anyway)
Fulc Shift : 2 accuracy, 3 recharge
Get Haste too if possible because Haste & a few Siphon Speeds is just silly fun.
Transfusion:
Must-have, 1/2 acc, 3 heal, 0-2 RchRdx, 0-1 EndRdx
Siphon-Power:
Pretty much must-have, 1-2 acc, 0-2 rech.
Repel:
Skippable, 3 EndRdx
Siphon speed:
Very muchly must-have, 1-2 acc, 3 rech, 0-2 slow (slow also increases your speed)
ID:
Skippable, 0-1 EndRdx, 0-3 DamRes
Speed Boost:
Must-Have, 3 EndMod, 0-3 RunSpd
IR:
Pretty good to have, allows dropping vertical travel and going with just SS, 0-1 RechRdx, 0-3 Jump, 0-2 EndRdx
Transference:
Must-Have, 1-2 Acc, 1-3 RechRdx, 1-3 EndMod
Fulcrum:
Must-Have, 1-2 Acc, 3 rech, 0-2 range, 0-2 EndRdx
Also get hasten+SS, hasten is beautiful with siphon speed, and SS is good travel combined with IR. Stamina is very useful pre-36, and still nice after.
Inertial Reduction is VERY fine without any additional slotting, it's the same as regular Super Jump so a jump enhance will do, endurance ain't a problem because during the travel you'll recover the endurance spent and it's already perma without recharges as it last 1 minute and recharges in 1 minute.

[/ QUOTE ]I know that, however all those nenhances can be useful, endurance for usage mid-fight, jump to make it faster, and recharge in case you are debuffed, or need to give it to a team member who missed it.
Wel thanks so much for your help on Illu/rad troller but I decide to go with Illu/kin. Was some good info on the help I asked for I have to say. So Im hoping for a good response for this.
Thing is I have no free respec now as I restarted so I want to be more careful.
So any suggestions on a PvE (mostly) build for Illu/kin?
