Grounded vs Leaping Pool
I have grounded and the protection isnt anywhere near reliable enough for pvp. You MUST be on a totally flat surface for grounded to provide you with the KB/KD protection or else your screwed. Besides that the protection when the power is working is still weak.

And on a side note: is it possible to enhance the mag of KB powers?
Nope. Cant enhance that, like you cant enhance the mag of stuns or holds

The KB protection in Grounded is supposed to be getting changed so that it improves with level. Might even be in the current training room build.
I really should do something about this signature.
It was in the last build, and hopefully will go live tomorrow. It's already live in the US, and now with it scaling it's a power worth taking.
However, if you're already going to get SJ I advise acro too, since it's infinite KB resist, and minor hold resist, mean you won't get taken out of the air. With grounded, it's SS or nothing really, all other travel powers risk you being smacked into the floor.
Yeah, I already got SJ, but I want respec my toon and do the changes I described in the first post. Acro is amazing, but I really dont wanna burn another power slot just for KB protection.
As for the travel power, I disagree. I'll need Grounded when I'm fighting, which will be on the ground, not in the air. If I wanted so, I would take hover instead of AS. Travel power are about 2 things: filling holes of your toon and playstyle

As soon as I7 went live, I tried all the new power sets and now I'm leveling a SS/Elec Brute and it's proving to be a lot of fun. But now I need some advice regarding mez protection.
First of all, I prefer to play Brutes so they are no mystery to me. I have a lvl 46 FM/FA, a set that requires the leaping pool in order to be efficient. Now, with Elec, I heard we can skip it thanks to Grounded, although I dont know how useful it is compared to Combat Jumping and Acrobatics.
I have the following 2 options when I respec:
1) keep Punch, Haymaker, KB and Hurl as my single-target attacks and get CJ, SJ and Acro
OR
2) skip Hurl and the Leaping Pool, and take Air Superiority, Fly and Grounded instead and another power as I'll get a free slot that way.
I'm inclined to get option number 2, due to concept reasons and because I dont want SJ again. But as I like PvP (solo or teaming), is Grounded enough protection to KB, considering the changes in it that are about to come?
