Power choice question for lvl 22 FF/Dark

Howdy all I was wondering if anyone could help me with a decision I'm trying to make regarding my next power choice for my level 22 FF/Dark defender. This defender originally started off as a solo-defender project but things were going quite slow for me so once I got to lvl 22 and SO's I used my I7 respec to change his build to a more team-focussed one. This is his current build:

I've only played this guy for one evening so far with this build and I was on a team with another FF defender at the time (*tips hat to BlackDragon*) so I don't have any kind of a feel yet for what my defender brings to a team. Initially, when I was planning out my respec at lvl 22, I had planned on taking Detention Field at 24 and then Maneuvers at 26, Tactics at 28 and Vengeance at 30. My thinking was that with Detention Field if there was a boss tearing the team apart at least I'd be able to take him out of the fight and give my team some breathing space. I still want to take Detention Field but now I'm wondering would it make more sense to pick up Maneuvers at 24 and drop Detention Field to 26. Basically my question is, with the changes to enemy accuracy/to-hit that came with I7, would Maneuvers add more value to a team from lvl 24 to 26 than Detention Field?

As far as bosses are concerned, Force Bolt is adequate control imo. It is so accurate and recharges so fast you can basically keep them on their bottom indefinitely. Maneuvers is a bit weak nowadays, but I suppose its better on a Bubbler than most other toons, to really stack up that def. Detention Field does have its uses, but you'll probably find damage dealers with scrapper lock bashing away at the phased mob to no effect, no matter how much you explain whats going on. On my own FF/Dark instead of these two powers I went for Dark Pit. With a bit of slotting its decent and you can stack the stun from repulsion bomb with it if you take that. The stun isn't high mag, but its great for versus problem minions and lts such as Tsoo Sorcerers and Malta Sappers.

Hmm, I might plan another respec when I get to 24 and pick up Dark Pit so I can use it in combo with Tenebrous Tentacles as a ghetto hold (I should have done that when I respecced at 22 but I was reluctant to drop my snipe (which I now know is pretty ineffectual on teams)).

Dark pit is rubbish.

I've a Dark/Kinetics corrupter and I got Dark Pit to give him some AOE control. I ignored the crys of "Its useless, don't bother" as they came from D3s who had much stronger control powers available to them, figuring for me it'd be useful.

Not at all. It's a very, very short duration, even slotted up fully.

And I'm someone who loves control powers. But its just too weak.

Id rather use Dark Pit on Malta Sappers than Detention Field or hope Maneuvers makes them miss

Well yeah, its probably better than detention field.

I was just horribly disappointed by it when I picked it up. I've given it a fair go and it doesn't do very well.
