Bodyguard and a Heavy in RV
In Bodyguard mode, the pets are set to aggressive/follow, so when an attack is started by one of your pets, the others join in.
If you are attacking the turrets, you need to set all your pets on passive and then send in the Heavy just on its own. During this time, you can be vulnerable to attack from external sources.
Put your bodyguard mode back on when moving around the area or when attacking "normal" foes..

Not quite. Bodyguard mode is Defensive/Follow.

Personally, last time I was in RV, I had my bots set to aggressive/follow incase any fools, sorry, heroes, came close, stayed out of range of the turrets and sent the heavy in. once the heavy had aggro, *then* I sent my pets in. The Heavy is far more able to take the punishment form those turrets than any normal MM pet.
Other than that, it was just a mtter of keeping my eyes open for interfering heroes, and methodically taking out the turrets.
Mind you, I've not been into RV since about 2 days after I7 hit, since I've had better things to do, but I can't see matterc changing any. Without a Heavy though, taking down a pillbox would be a nightmare.

For Bodyguard mode pets have to be set to defensive/follow.
This is definatley the way I had mine set and the where right beside me so well within supremacy rance. When I sent in the Heavy usine attack my target from his own command line all pets ran in.
This surly cannot be right.
I now use defensive/follow followed by attack my target (all pets) then follow me.
It is my view that bodyguard mode was designed to help MM with defence in PVP but if they follow the Heavy i am doomed. I died within seconds at lvl43 when they ran off as a lvl 50 hero kinly splatted me (hope he enjoyed taking a lone MM trying to sort out his pets). I was only villian on the RV map server at the time.

What way did you command your heavy, my zombies all headed for the turrets with him set at defensive/follow ie Bodyguard mode

Can't remember exactly what I was doing, but given that Pet AI seems to have chenged a little in the recent MM bugfix patches, it's entirely possible that what I was doing wouldn't work any more.
That said, from what I remember, I just had all my pets set to aggressive/follow, targeted a turret, right clicked the Heavy and set it to attack my target. Once the heavy had opened fire, then hit Mouse button 5 (which is bound to /petcom_all Attack Aggressive) and the rest of the bots joined in. For rather puny amounts of DoT, but never mind.
I think the problem may have been the defensive setting on your horde of undead. IIRC, in that settnig, if one pet gets attacked, then they all try to go and help. In aggressive, it seems less likely to happen like that.
Oh, and bear in mind that a lot of your pets are melee, whereas I can keep my pets at range and stuill hurt stuff.
Melee range is a dangerous place to be

It certainly seems that way.
Well I was out of melee range but as the bot went in he got hit with the turrets (obviously) so from what you are saying the zombies by defaut will go to help him (and die) leaving me squishy.
Sort of defeats the idea of 'Bodyguard' if you have a heavy.
So now im wondering if I can use any pets (necro) to attack in PVP under bodyguard mode, it appears not as once one gets hit the rest will run and leave me squishy.
A necro MM looks pretty useless now with a heavy set to attack turrets.
The way I see it, and I'm new-ish to MM's and to Bodyguard mode.
You set all your henchies to Defensive/Follow. They will attack when someone or something attacks the MM itself.
So in theory with a Heavy as well it work this way.... (not tested, all theoretic)
Henchies in Body guard mode, separately attack with the heavy using the pet panel. Once it starts the aggro. Attack with the MM. If and when the turret start firing at the MM itself, your henchies should be 'defensive' enough to engage it. Click the attack on your heavy again to ensure it maintains the aggro.
Just a calculated guess, please pick fault if need be

Thats the way I want it to happen but its not.
I noticed that the command on the Heavies Control button is /petcom_all Attack.
Is it possible you have been using this button to send your heavy into battle? Just change it and remove the _all and try it out
That is very possible, and thanks for drawing that to my attention. I will check later (much later) tonight.
Maybe just me being new in PVP with my Mastermind so bear with me.
Took my necro/dark into RV last night and picked up a Heavy to go tackle the Pill Boxes, I set all pets to bodyguard mode and headed to the first Pill Box. When I was in range I sent the Heavy over to take on the first turret, immediatly all my henchmen took off to attack the Turret as well needless to say they where wiped out by the turrets almost instantly. Panic set in and I recalled ALL pets (well those left barely alive), set to bodyguard and sent in the Heavy again and off they go again.
Question.
Is it possible to have my henchment set to bodyguard mode and send in the heavy on his own to take out the turrets, if so what am I doing wrong.
