Sounds like a bug to me, possible related to graphic card/drivers. /bug it at least.
I tried it in two bases with no luck (second base has no power though) but I have visited other SG bases and seen the logo's working so its probably not drivers, I even tried the same logo that I've seen working, I saw on the US forums there is a bug that means some logo's display the wrong logo but this ones stumped me :-(

i had the same problem before.. , so oncei set them all up, i exited the base, come back and readded them, for reason it worked that time.
Daft question but have you tried altering your Supergroup colours? If your colours are, for example, yellow and yellow, you won't see the SG emblem on the banners as they are the same colour.

Have you tried the SG holograms. I set up a lovely hologram to welcome people to the Sisterhood base and we get a lot of good comments about it. A nice big red rotating skull!! 
Sadly even the holograms are just a circle of glowing lines with nothing on top, as are the lovely floor plates and glass stands :-( I think I will /bug it tonight because someone else has tried to edit the base and he couldn't get them working either.

Thanks for the tips guys, I tried again last night and it was the logo that was at fault in the end, I had tried different logo's before but had just changed them and not seen any difference, wasn't until I moved the items that the new logo suddenly appeared. All sorted now

i have this same issue, my housemates laptop shows me the base items as they should be but i get no details even if i replace them.
the holograms i have to hit in the right light from below to see them which i dont think is right either.
also, the metal plating on the walls of our VG base (no idea which part, MCX placed them) appears all gun metal grey to me, but on my friends machine is red after the lighting in the base :/.
I have no problems seeing details on floor tiles

ive had the ame pronlem its a bug got the usel responce from suport when i reported it 'we know of this issue and are working to resolve it'
