Order of the Cruciform Swords by Omega MCX

Hi all as some people out there know I said i was going to try drawing some if not all the members of the OotCS after spending a long time gathering and doing photoshoots i finaly decided to make a start today so first up i decided to do Omega MCX. Hopefully i can the rest up soon and after everyones done i can proceed with the main project of doing everyone in one big picture of awesomeness.

So without further adoo i present Omega MCX, hopefully i can get a coloured version done soon, i just have to figure out how to do this sort of thing in photoshop or paintshop pro

One point though, try to sort out the thumbs on both hands (more specifically the left hand) If you can get the thumb right it will be brilliant. Look forward to seeing your finished painting

I have only just started using Photoshop, and really not getting to grips with it at all! Great programme though, I do recommend downloading Open Canvas 4.06 - it's a great programme for the painting side of things, slightly weak on layers & filters though.

hmm if memory serves me well theirs over 24 characters to be done and im still collecting more screenys from the rest of the sg on top of that not too easy when some peeps arnt on at the same time as me but i seem to be on at wierd times of the day atm last time i checked 4am - 9am seems to be my current gaming time.

Well a friend is comeing round tommorrow to show me the wonders of inking in paintshop pro so hopefully it wont take too long to get this bad boy in colour

The blue lineart, Omega... that's one of those special sketching pencils that was meant to not show up on photocopies or some such? I've been toying with the idea of getting one to avoid smudged messes when sketching but would really like to know what the real benefit to them is, could you enlighten me?

Dont know what it is about those blue lead penicls they just bring out the best in me thats all

Sadly went through a big drawing slump last year got me one of those blues lead graphics penicls and the mojo just came flowing back, me thinks theyre magic

Yeah theyre pritty damn handy, i deffinetly dont get smudges anymore thats for sure plus if you make mistakes theyre a lot easyer to rub out the normal lead. Also if your a big fan of inking with normal fineliner's its a lot easyer to do too since back in the old days when i inked a normal lead picture it would pritty much bugger up my fineliner prob why i skipped using normal lead pencils for while before said slump kicked in to play...

Anyways thanks for the comments for the comments ill prob get started on the next member since its going to be a while till i get my friend to show me the tricks of the trade with photoshop, although my housemate went back home yesterday so going to be a while till i can find another scanner
