I find I'm often tempted to raise a thread from the dead if I missed it first time round and want to ask a related question, rather than start a new thread, but usually I manage to resist the urge. 
I don't mind it being brought back from the dead, I started the thread after all. 
Noone minds, really - until you get the occasional pillock who revives 20-30 4-month-old threads in 20 minutes with one-word replies... should be a hanging offence!
