DA has no status protection (against holds, knockbacks etc) how are you managing? Have you gone, Jump kick->SJ->Acrobatics? Or another method? Cloak of Darkness does grant some resistance but its only a Mag1 (lowest) resistance, in PvP you'll need more. I have a regen main and I have been toggle dropped through Integration with ease. A fair few depending on the build you are fighting, bare in mind that a controller specced for holds is not always 100% succesful. Dark Mastery has one hold, you might get lucky.

I don't think disorient stacks with a hold, could be wrong.

If you are only intending playing in the arena then this is an okay idea but in a PvP zone you may not have time to toggle a shield on to soak up damage from an unexpected quarter. Better to build with the idea of running them all all the time. Then save end by switching them (or tough) off.

No, DA has status protection agaist disorient, hold and sleep with Obsidian Shield.
Oops...
Still nothing for knockback/down though. Which is reason for taking acrobatics, which was what I was leading upto. Should have re-read before posting. DOH!

DAs status protection:
Obsidian Shield: Hold, Disorient, Sleep, Fear
Cloak of Darkness: Immobilize (and a crappy one at that.)
So most DAs pick the leaping pool
Combat Jumping: Immobilize (way better than CoD)
Acrobatics: Knockback/Knockdown, Hold (stacks with OS)
And obsidian shield also gives a nice 37.5% RES to psionic (base)

See for my brute I always run CoD, and only turn CJ on when it gets bad, the +per, +def, Stealth all add up to make it one nice power. Would probably be the same if I was a scrapper

oh yes, don't get me wrong, i loooove CoD, very good stealth power, +perc +stealth +def +immob protection and NO -SPD. but don't rely on it as your immob protection, as that part of it sucks (just like the +DEF)

if i cannot maintain them i maybe be very dependant on conserve power in the bodymastery set? which wud be a bonus because i could get focused acc aswell but i reali wana get dark mastery as my regen scrapper already has body mastery. i realise for pvp i may need focused acc alot coz with 2 end reducs on each toggle plus 3 of what ever effect it gives. i may not be able to 2 slot my attacks with 2 acc 3 dmg (im katana weilding btw)
does anyone know how much self dmg opressive gloom does to the user?
what are the dark mastery powers like as its been a while since iv had a lev 41+ scrapper and i cant remember?
if u have a katana/DA scrapper how does your end hold up without conserve power? and how does it hold up with it?
