Obsidian shield is kinda a must. Dark consumption would be nice, but get that resistance first.
Dont think you'll need taunt or shadow punch.

Would be my order of importance, but then you want Soul Drain as soon as its free (and want it in a bad way you do)

I definitely agree on picking Obsidian Shield.
Yeah is a must have skill for dark brutes. Stops a lot of toggle dropping by mobs.
Def Obsidian shield........unless you like going mano et mano with no toggles up
