It's pretty quiet in Bringers of Peace, it's more of a retirement home for the level 50s now days, it would seem. We managed to cap the Super Group size limit with mostly alts, so made an alt group, Peace of Mind.
Also, on the side; SL (Brina), Ara, and myself made Imaginary Inc. for a themed (ghost) super group, which was scrapped and turned into just a normal supergroup open for all - while not having tons of members, we do have a good base and around 1.8 million prestiege saved up for a rainy day. =)
Oh, not to mention we have Bringers of Chaos on CoV.

It has been a while, and i'm getting quite misty eyed at thought of coming back and hooking up with peeps again, it's been too long. Very uncool of me i know, but these things happen, and i haven't lost any of my coolness. The freezers in the supermarket have even started to back off reverentially, and the eskimos have elevated me to god like status.
Anyway, that's by the bye. I'm gonna be a newb again when i get CoV so no doubt much faceplanting will take place and many laughs will be had by all at my expense, which is all good. Can't wait to get back mate, the sooner the better!!

Tbh in eyes there hasn't been many changes (maybe the problem for some) to City of Heros. There have been some good changes with global chat having to be one of them (can see when you online if you are playing an alt). Other fairly big changes is more to do with PvP (afew more zones) and supergroups (sgs have more of a meaning now).
Cant wait to catch you in game (mostly spend my time on City of Villains now). If you decide to try that out (would recommend) then let me be the first to nab you into my sg E.V.I.L. Lots of sgs out there but you may see a couple of people you regonise (cough wamdue, cough sam the seed) in my one

u missed alot mate, ara dinged 50, i made a non scrapper and enjoyed it, leth died alot (some things dont change) been a few changes to the game but nothing that gonna shock ya silly, although ED might upset you if you missed that!!

havent really got into villains yet myself, not a patch on heroes imo, but it doesnt help that all the best people and my mates play on heores still, so teaming in villains sucks a bit. but im sure i can be persuaded to create another brute and come join u if you make a villain up.

one) i can handle agro amazingly well.. i charge in, get loads of agro cause mayhem, maybe die, probably use MoG, definetly swear, where's the problem?

As far as things you've missed... as was mentioned in a post above, there's Enhancement Diversification. What ED (as it gets referred to) means is that there's now a system of diminishing returns on enhancements, if you slot multiple of the same kind in a power. When you're using +3 SOs, you'll start to notice the dropoff slightly on the third SO, and the fourth SO will add quite a lot less.
What this means is that people have switched from the old 1 Acc/5 Dam slotting on attacks, to 1/2 Acc (2 mainly for PvP, where everyone's base def is higher), 3 Dam, and then filling in the remaining slot or two with Recharge Reductions and/or Endurance Reductions. It also means Hasten can no longer be perma. Three recharge reductions is generally the way most people go. Same with Stamina. However, endurance costs were reduced across the board by 13% to make up for that. As far as Tanker powers, this basically means slotting three res or def is considered the way to go, and then perhaps some endurance reductions, and then... well... you have extra slots for elsewhere. If you really have nowhere to put them, you can keep them where they were, but they only give you 5% bonus or something like that. Here's a post going into the whole thing in-depth.
Personally, I have to say while it all sounds fairly horrible at first, going from 6-slotting to 3-slotting of a lot of powers... I actually like it, for the most part, aside from the loss of 6-slotted Hover.
On a simpler and happier-sounding note, you also missed us finally getting Global Chat.
I think those and CoV are the major things... there havebeen some little minor things - we actaully had a Christmas event, and we're in the middle of a Valentine's Day event right now, which takes place in the newly renovated Paragon Dance Party (now actually cool, not just a crappy warehouse map). End result of all of it is that some people keep saying the game's so much worse than it used to be and complain about constant nerfs, and some people keep saying it's better. I'd just get playing again, and judge it for yourself.

I'm thinking of returning to the fray in a few weeks, after a break of what will be about 6 months. Things are very different round here these days. The forum is ninetytwelve times bigger, loads of names i don't recognise, some i do(Max Powerz, Wamdue), players leaving(sorry to see Cliff and Atreides go) and much gametime and updates missed.
So what i'm basically posting for, as well as saying hello, is a request for a brief synopsis of what i've missed(i'm fully aware of CoV), how much this game has gotten better/worse, how many peeps are left that i enjoyed hooking up with(Max Powerz, Jinx/Antix, Sam the Seed and many more besides), and if anyone has any info regarding the sg i was in, Bringers of Peace. If you're out there guys i can't wait to get back into it all!!
