apart from stupid bugs like broken missions i haven't noticed i7 being too bad...
it's driving me insane too Grey.
I just bought a new computer - before i7 everything was lovely - smooth, no lag, a real dream to play (I even respecced my toons to tp to make the most of the no-lag)
now i'm running on the lowest settings posible, taking nearly 2 minutes to zone each time, and dropping out of the air like a stone everytime I'm part-way to my destination.
I'm finding it really really frustrating

It's a particular problem with grandville dark. I think it's all the arachnos metal textures all over the place. Sometimes it's really unbearable, others it's not so bad. In a way i'm a bit annoyed that they applied some of the gfx from CoV to CoH in i7. CoH was where i went to escape lag, and it's still much better, but i notice it being more laggy than b4

If its the textures you could try reducing textuere quaility while leaving the other settings as normal. My card manks up the textures anyway and doesnt render them properly, probably why i'm not lagging ;p

well as i hear you have neither looks nor performance you should feel right at home 
On a moer serious note i expect further optimisations to take place in future patches
I can't wait for them to patch it.
I'm running on a geforce 7900GT (256mb) and I have texture quality of lowest, all sliders down to lowest, shader quality to lowest, no FSAA, no debris etc etc etc and I'm still consistently the slowest to zone, and it's taking me longer to cross a zone with my single range SO slotted tp than someone with SJ.
In contrast, I set all to max, including world details to 200% and FSAA 4x, depth of field and all that - and tp'd my way up steel canyon last night without dropping a frame.
btw, what the hell is a 'memory leak', and why isn't it affecting everyone? Is there anything I can do my end to sort it?

Ah i get this too, sometimes i go upstairs to look for something only to forget what the hell it is by the time i get there....just a tragic consequence of old age i'm afraid. Its where more and more system resources get choked up the longer you run a program, essentially, in laymens terms. So the longer you run the more extreme your performance woes will get.
Question. How much ram do you two have? RAM makes a big difference to lag in MMORPGs i have found

Once again, Dark Servant - yuk!
However DM ftw - I'm finding that combos of Tar Patch, Darkest Night, Fear, Petrifying Gaze, Twilight Grasp and the odd sprinkling of Howling Twilight are helping chip away at the AVs, so it's all good.
However, if you're really going for support, it's surely make sense to take the leadership PP earlier at the expense of Ice Blast moves? Aim? you really need it if you've got Assault and Tactics? Better to have a small increase all the time than a slightly larger one for 10 seconds every x minutes?
Also no patron? won't that give you some holds that would again provide support for the team?
Just my opinion of course. With SV the only powers I've taken which I consider to be non-support are my travel powers and the 5 ninja related from my primary - and even they can add a little extra damage dealing in a fight.
Of course, you won't be able to solo for toffee, but then with a name like 'Ice Heart' they'd all be out to give you a kicking anyway, so it's probably for the best
However, I will try to be more contructive than this, so i've have a play and maybe post a build.

First thing i can see is a little wacky slotting tbh, but then dark is a tricky set first time round, all the powers do several things and can be slotted for such. Take freeze ray not BFR. Frost breath is very dissappointing tbh, ice is all about massive ST damage, but ice storm and tar patch will give you nice AoE damage, esp as it's now buffable (does more than BIB). With /dark you wont be running leadership with your other toggles if you want to have any endurance left to do anything useful. I come into some endurance issues with Kitty running CJ, Acro and SF, this is without the epic sheild and with a less end intensive set than ice.
If you wanted to go more PvP later on i'd swap out TP for jumping, lose icestorm and put 2 acc in place of a recharge in the attacks.
Earlier on DN is FAR more useful than SF so i've swapped them around. Elec epic will help with the endurance issues and refil you post-nuke.
If you wanted to go more support based we can swap around power lvls to take the secondaries earlier and put some blasts off, though i wouldn't recommend it.

From my persepctive it gives all the powers I really want by level 30, so gives you plenty of time to slot them how you want them.
Also took the mako PP as it's got the shark holds, although admittedly the pet was just a whim.
I took DS, much as I think he's rubbish, if you're team support I guess he could come in handy.

Oh My God. Thank goodness for being home.... horrible flight home - was kinda like a ride at Alton Towers :P still, am home, have "borrowed" a gaming-grade mouse from work that I had one of my minions order (could only just suppress the splutters as he explained to the tech ordering guys that his boss "finds the mouse he has now doesn't track well on all surfaces" hehehehe )
And with the physx card arriving tomorrow coupled with some "working" from home action I'm looking forward to pushing I7 till it breaks.... quite what I'll do after 7:01 AM I don't know :P

Probably but that's mainly for crimes against costume fashoin....
While I remember - Jon should we be petitioning re the distinct lack of "bonus" prestige in RV? or do we think the 100 IS the bonus? If so it kinda makes RV naff for prestige farming (though still good in the early mornings if you use the heavies - I made about 20k in 40 mins on Thurs)
One hopes that the SF bonus is deffo 5 mill... wonder if there's a way we can ask the yanks who managed it if they got the bonus.
