As my stalker is above the level limit I agree fully with that suggestion

You're going to hate me, but some toons still have thier jetpacks, so they'd had a distinct advantage

In theory they should all be gone now.......if not then gonna have to rethink :/ Is why I picked this weekend as jetpacks should have gone.
they seem to have a 30 day duration from when they were collected, so when ever you signed in with that alt you get the jetpack 30 days from then

Ahhh okies, hmm thats kinda annoying. Have to think of a work around for that. Or wait a couple of weeks. On the upside it does mean my baby brute created on the 1st gets to keep her pack for quite a while yet
Yeah, no need to rush my stalker to 14, can try and get into those arcs I want instead. Cause she has Jet Pack, and SJ will still seem awaesome at 14 anyway

No problem Pippi ! Maybe I'll have my new motherboard by then and will enjoy playing villains again. (and be able to participate in the race) The lag there just makes it not worth playing for me 
So is this still on for tomorrow? And if yes, at what time?

Yeah, I know. Just looking to get confirmation from the organizer, because I'm itching to do some more missions with my lvl 5 Brute, but if I know it's on I'll wait until after the event
Yeah still a disturbing number of packs out there, however I think if I can round up all the folks I need to help me run this then we are on a go Will just disqualify anyone seen using a jet pack

Hehe, but as a general remark and point for discussion about contests on CoV: since we're all supposed to be the Bad Guys(tm), wouldn't, err, what you could call creative rules interpretation be a thing that's expected around here, and that in some cases even should be encouraged?
I'm not talking about this race in particular - the thought of speed-buffing by a higher-lvl player never even occured to me until I read the post above. You can attribute that to me having played CoV for less than two weeks so far, I just don't have a firm grasp on what's possible yet. But I'm usually more of a RPer (if not always a serious one), and I'm interested if this has been tried before. Would sound fun to me
Oh well, to get back to the point: at what time is this happening? I don't think you've posted that yet, at least not in here (if I missed it feel free to make fun of me).

doh just hit lvl 6. Oh well 
The Dagger Boys are sponsoring another event once we are into the new year and folks are around to play.
To enter the contest you must be playing a character who is lvl 5 or lower. The event will start near Kalinda in Mercy, at each stage you will be given somewhere to run to in an orienteering style race through several of the zones. At each checkpoint you will be given further . First person past the finishing post wins the prize!
Prize will probably be around 250,000 infamy.
