Sounds a bit like how I feel on my ice/dark. Heal, buff, debuff, three holds (well, two for now, one more when I level a bit), high damage, fear, and a pet come level 38. I've never had so much fun with any of my toons, and she's good in both PvE and PvP.
I live in continual fear of ice/dark turning into one of those damn FotM builds and a ton of them suddenly popping up, though.

*/dark is fabby - I've been an advocat of it for months tho Black hole is pants in PvE - unless u wanna spend ages trying to stop team from hitting them. The pets are one of the best in the game - pre CoV the were THE best TBPH.Hopefully your fears are unfounded htere are so many good combos i hope the AT doesnt get overloaded too. Ooo theres another fabby power - the fear is great fun tho I seem to have more running away than before where it used to freeze then shivverein in their wee booties??? Anyone else noticed this? Is it a CoH i5/i6 thing?

Seriously, I feel I can do anything with my Dark/Thermal, particulary in the later levels. With the right enhancements (Dark pit is horribly inaccurate for example), by level 40, I'll be able to Nulify threats to my teamates with high single target damage, Protect with shields, Clear control effects, Control myself, Give more damage mitigation with accuracy reducing attacks, Croud control wtih AoE attacks, Buff my allies and debuff the enenmy. ABout the only I can't do is summon a pet! Or use melee attacks, but if I six slot brawl...
I'm just saying I love this build so much and feel it is a perfect PvE team addition and could be a useful protecter in PvP. He's awesome fun to play to, because I feel So useful. Anyone feel they can match this?
