I didn't tried that, because i would like to know if i can choose the amount to convert after clicking it or just all my influence became prestige (bad thing, of course).

I think the general consensus is don't bother - the rate of change is horrible. Something like 1 mil of inf = 2000-20k prestige or something..
To try it, I think you can try talking to supergroup registrar at Atlas park for heroes - don't know where the villain one is.
The rate is:
1,000,000 inf = 2,000 pstg

Just took a run to Atlas SG Registrar, and it seems that some of us have no option to turn Influence to Prestige. Hope it gets fixed soon. Got a lot of Inf to transfer. 
Just did the same thing i think only team leaders have this option to change.
with over 60 million in influ a little injection into the base fund would be helpful.
There are only three alternatives. It thinks were either a threat, food, or a mate. Its gonna either kill us, eat us, or hump us.

To be able to donate you need to have base edit permissions, this is set by your sg leaders. It would be more useful if anyone could donate, but them's the breaks.

im a SG leader (and the founder) and i dont have the option, i also dont have the influnace to convert but thats a diffrent story :P
oh and going more on topic, the exchange rate is [censored] if you cant afford it (i havnt been over 2mil influance and im level 36) but if you have more than 5mil and a big SG then i guess it isnt to bad.
i wonder if its a mistake on the devs part and they put a decimle in the wrong place again :P

Yep same happened to me once i had transferred all my inf, if you ain't got their "minimum amout" then you don't get the options either.
