indeed we are, so don't worry

Although I don't know why Saphire didn't phase herself (and Grav) out of the cell...

I did mention the containment field in play, stepping shifted into it would be like licking a car battery

Just for referance, is that a clean car battery?
I've always wanted to know what it'd be like to phase, even if it's in to a containment field.

As far as I can imagine; Imagine holding a sneeze for as long as you can.

Now do it when someone stamps on your toe in stilletos.

Ah thanks

Saphire is now encased in 5 bubbles... nice!

And I do believe that a Zues is a Malta Titan, or rather 2 combined Hercs. They've sold some to the Arachnos in Warburg, so that's not a problem, but perhaps you ment a Mark II mechman?

Weasel, you're up

I believe I've stated enough about Grav's intended next moves that you can extrapolate what she'll do, so feel free

The clock's ticking

Ah, sounds like Saphire's up now.
Well, ofcourse the rocket would glance off the bubble and blow a chunk out of the wall or something,
but Saphire doesn't know that (Just making sure that Weasel does )

You'd think so wouldn't you.....

I mean, there's never been anything that's changed, has it?

You can move as well if you want...

Saphire looked at the rocket and stood firm in front of it, before an explosion and a cloud of smoke surrounded her and the portal controls...

Good thing she's uber bubbled, no?

I wasn't sure what Saphire was doing there, and if she did it or not. But I'm sure she went to the controle panel for a reason...

But didn't the control panel get blown up? If not completely ignore my last post, it was born out of confusion

seeing as Saphire surfived, I don't see why a sturdy controle pannel wouldn't

Ok, Saphire took the blast to save the control panel and it 'seems' to still be working properly.

AFAIK, Saphire 2 told Saphire 1 what buttons to press on the panel; but she had to do it very quickly....

Posted

BTW...as you're getting close, Saphire 2 and Grav 2 are now under your control...but be careful what they do...

Did Grav and Saphire land in the same location? (and time)

Requiem's Coin

This reminds you of

"The Path Less Trodden".

Waking up from a deep sleep one morning, you found yourself transported back through time to two days before the Rikti War.

Whilst you struggled getting to grips with the sights and sounds that you'd not seen for so long, an ominous group of enemies sought to crush your souls.

The Carnival and Crey seemed aware of your presence and they hunted you down before you could understand the predicament you were in.

Could you stop the War? And if you did, what would happen to you?

The Liberty League were tipped off to your accidental stumblings on the Timeline of the World and set off to capture you until you let them know of the danger.

In the middle of trying to save the world from the Invasion, you were attacked by thousands of the Fifth Column, endlessly throwing themselves against the far superior might of the Heroes.

Seeking the murderer of a villain, you talked to Dr. Sheridan, who informed you of a strange disappearance of his patient, just as the Crey sent their new Paragon Protectors to steal your DNA.

Escaping through the sewers, you found remnants of the original Fifth Column, sent to observe your progress. In defeating them, you saw the first glimpse of the man they called Requiem, before the tunnel was buried.

The Carnival realised they would be trapped in this time unless they escaped and ambushed you, using their Strongmen to dig up the tunnel and the portal, but it was to no avail.

Entering the tunnel through your own powers, you were trapped in a deadly death-trap but managed to escape, coming across the remnants of Requiem's Time-Travellers.

Requiem had chosen those that would have betrayed him though, and set charges to destroy the base. You escaped by the skin of your teeth thanks to the help of your future selves.

The letter though, gives a clue to his whereabouts. Requiem must be stopped before the Rogue Isles gives birth to a new Fifth Council.

Nice ending, if a bit anti-climaxical (and overly Back to the Futurey)

Also, that discription of the Coin feels much more for Saphire than for Grav.

And: Yay! We managed to finish it in one piece!
