Claws/Willpower

Anyone have a good claws/wp scrapper build, mine is 39 and I love it. IO level 50 build would be nice, cost does not matter.

45 looks and no response? Is this not a build people have played?

I played it to 50 and it was a very fun and solid build, however I didn't IO it so I can't help ya there. I think he went to 50 with his lvl 25 IOs still slotted from lvl 22. So Good Luck, have fun and be merry!

Well what do you want your build to do? My Claws/WP is mostly slotted for max HP but I coudl redo it for more HP regen. You could also go for some defense or a mix of everything.

Just with SO's it is a very cool toon. Just would like to see what others have done with theirs as an IO build.

Interestingly, I too have a Claws/WP parked at 39 while I try to decide what direction to go with IOs. I've done several soft-cap builds so far and don't want to go that way with this guy (just for the sake of variety).

Looks like I'm going claws/wp (even though I have too many gorram WP characters already) when claws hits brutes. I don't feel like working this morning, so I'll crank up a finalized build for a scrapper in a sec.

Wish Mids had the new PvP IOs...

I was leaning claws/Wp for my brute as well, despite not really like my claws/WP scrapper much I think its the 'best' brute set for my playstyle (hmm maybe claws/fire could be an option).

In my opinion with Claws/WP recharge is less critical for a build than with other power sets. I went for max HP, but I think a better compromise would be a substantial HP increase with HPT, Accolades, and set bonuses and then mix in as much recharge as you can get. Throw in Tough and Weave and you have a pretty sturdy build.

On the Brute side of things, I'd think you could easily get a brute above the Scrapper HP cap. I might have to add Claws/WP into my considerations for my Claws Brute. Waffling between EA and SR currently.

I seem to be in the minority, but my Claws/WP is my favorite toon, and I put the money into him.
I slotted him for all Regen, HP, Recharge, and Dam Buff.
It's the 3 attack chain of Follow Up-Spin-Eviscerate at 96.5% constant Dam Buff that I dig, along with running well over 100 HP's/Sec Regen in big mobs.
I guess I'm weird.

Ok, here's a quick and dirty build. No doubt there is room for much improvement. Especially if you can dump the positional defense and get more typed to S/L.

Quick stats in a nutshell:

HP: 2258
Recovery: 4.36/sec
S/L dam-res: 46.9
FCEN def: 28.8
Recharge buff: 150% (8 or so seconds shy of perma)
Damage buff: 11.5%

This is the build I'm trying to turn my Dual Blade project into. Not the highest HP, but plenty of regen to make up for it. The Time Lord accolade alone will give you perma-hasten, not to mention the added recharge of the predator badge. Best thing about this build is the chance for build up in follow up. The attacks are so fast, with a decent attack chain, you'll literally have the bonus up enough to rival DM's high damage numbers. With the chance for +ToHit in your first attack, you'll put up a high enough ToHit % to not only rival Rage ATs, but also make def based characters cry.
