Import TXT file into the /ignore list
Spammers create new accounts all the time, a "known spammer" list would be useless.
Make in-game e-mails work in conjunction with the friends list and e-mail spam ends.
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill

The only way I see this "ignore all with this XX" working is if it were a list of trigger-words for a feature that blocked emails that had had trigger words (like varius permutations of a gold-sellers website name, for example) inside the text or title of the email.
Some players could spend hours coming up with those.
Based on sender names probably wouldn't work, but I do appreciate ideas towards the goal of getting rid of RMTmail.
Honestly I'd be happy if it could do this just so that the list would essentially be infinitely long.
Just had an idea. If the client could check a simple TXT file in the City of Heroes directory and import that list into the ignorelist, that might spur "player developers" to devise stronger anti-spam measures. Likely a simple utility to periodically update the TXT file from trusted blacklist(s) posted on the web, so known spammers get blocked even before players have to log in. Even at its simplest, friends could trade their blacklists with each other.
