IIRC...
Once the current leader is gone for 45 days (or whatever the option is set for), the next toon who has logged in within that timeframe who has been a member the longest will become the new leader.
I recommend doing a /getglobalname on the current leader and try sending him a global message to see if he/she is still active and might pass the star to you willingly. If they are already very close to the 45 day limit, I might just keep quiet first (you don't want to remind them to log in if they aren't going to be friendly about it. lol)

Hello freedom Villains. Back when I did play i didn't post at all, but I was a frequent reader of these forums. Now I come back with a new enthusiasm to be more outgoing. Anyways, I have a problem. I use to be the leader of a Supergroup. Since my absence I was demoted and now I have lost all of my privileges and the new leader hasn't been on for a while either. So, my question is how do I regain my leadership status? Thank you in advance your your answers. Hope to see you all soon.
