I have a Dark Blast / Cold Corruptor. I don't have any of the cold shields either and still help any team I'm on. Dark Blast gets Life Drain at level 28 which is a ranged attack and a heal all in one. It's a solid build for sure. Great at PvE and PvP. Go for it.

Nice cone AoE, some controls, debuffs, self-heal...
A little slow to build up, but once in mid 20s, starts to roll along nicely.

Yes, I like Force Fields.
Dark/Cold works well together but I'm a little unimpressed with the damage output. Dark is great if your into arena dueling or team PvP. If your gonna be soloing most of the time I'd go with a primary that hits harder. Fire is what I'd recommend.
If you truly don't plan on taking any shields, you may want to look at /storm.
Hi, I'm new to corruptors and can't decide what to take. I've pretty much decided on /cold for my secondary and have been thinking sonic/ or /ice for my primary. I solo 90% of the time so I don't think I'll be taking any of the shields in/cold. Any ideas on what I should choose?
