Trying my hand at soloing AVs

I decided its time for me to try something new in this game. Soloing AV's seems to be a new fun challenge.

This is the build I came up with. It's running a little short on the smite, SL, smite, MG, (repeat) attack chain. I assume that the difference will not be noticeable. Take out the Steadfast res/end and replace it with the PVP +def IO. I plan on using this build for a lot of teaming and not just for soloing AV's, which is why Grant Cover is still in the build, I don't plan on running that or tough during AV battles. Let me know you think. (Yes I know the build is hugely expensive).

You're about 3% shy of the soft-cap with Phalanx Fighting set to zero. I'd replace the Steadfast Res/End with the PvP 3% def unique and you will be good.

A bit of advice from my experiences with DM; don't underestimate the amount of endurance consumed by Soul Drain. If you are cycling it fast enough it can take a rather significant chunk out of your blue bar. I'd recommend slotting it with the Gaussian set to help knock down its end cost as well as the other goodies it provides.

which is why Grant Cover is still in the build, I don't plan on running that or tough during AV battles.

Grant cover gives you defense debuff resistance, you'll want to be running that against certain AVs. The more DDR you can get, the better. And Tough is actually useful in some AV fights. I run Tough all the time one my FM/SD. I have mine slotted with 5 pieces of Aegis for the almost 5% AoE defense it offers though, which makes its end cost a bit more manageable.

I can see end not being your friend in an AV fight. DC will not make up the for it. You will want to get CP in the build. Also looking at Stamina it is not slotted good at all, it is only at 68% it will need to be around 90 if you don't what to take CP. Yes Dark consumption is a good power but it as a long rechrage and may not always be up.

For soloing AV you will want SL to be more of a Heal then an attack. Look Here for good slotting. You will want it to do damage but you want it to heal for more.

Some AVs you will want to run them both. Remember your attacks will take more End they your toggles so it wont be that big of a deal to run them, but as said before you will have end problem with this build.
